Kwesi Arthur

Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, known professionally as Kwesi Arthur, was born on 18 December 1999 in Tema, Accra, and emerged as a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, producer, and singer. He first attracted attention with the 2017 single "Grind Day" and its remix featuring Sarkodie and Medikal, which helped him secure a spot on the 2018 BET Awards Best International Act shortlist. Kwesi Arthur released Live from Nkrumah Krom – EP in 2017 and Live from Nkrumah Krom Vol II: Home Run in 2019, which accumulated over two million streams in its first week. Subsequent projects included Son of Jacob (2022), This Is Not the Tape series, and Redemption Valley, featuring "Yawa (Hosanna)."
