Jesus David Galeano Murillo was born in San Luis, Tolima, on September 13, 2001. His parents are Viviana Murillo and Isidro Galeano. He has five brothers and two sisters. He is currently single. As a child he had a passion for the performance that music generated in him, and it was because of that connection that his interest in music arose. I always called him different topics and professions, but music satisfied him more.
At 12-13 years old he began uploading videos on Facebook of him doing covers of various songs that were fashionable at that time where they received good acceptance. Shortly after, he joined the SoundCloud platform where he published small projects under his name anonymously, while working at a sewing company. From that moment on he focused on the music industry in a more serious way, under his name, “AnĂłnimamente”, he presented his own version of the song “Mil FantasĂas”, by the artist J Balvin.
In 2020 he released the song “ Quiero ” on digital platforms with Kouzin Florez. The song attracted a large number of reproductions and attracted the interest of several investors such as labels, where the artist reached a mutual agreement with a globally recognized label for which he signed a contract in 2021. After that he decided to name himself as Yerxey as his stage name, so that it was "somewhat clearer" and he has commented that the name has a great meaning in his career as well as in his life, since when signing the artist he does it using 3 letters of his name where the first letter (Y) means the past and the trials that he has had to live in his process as in his life, the (X) means the present that he is living and in turn decreeing his future, the last letter (Y) means the future that he wait. The contract allowed him to participate in collaborations with different artists as well as internal recognition within the music industry, such as the recognition he obtained from different countries through his music released in that 2-year release established by the contract signed with the label. .
Regarding his musical style, he has commented that his songs do not promote violence or denigrate women. In an interview that he offers to an American channel he indicates the following words: «Not necessarily, although I am in this world of Latin music where I have to be promoting violence, which is being against the purpose of God. "I simply do what I like and I know the relationship I have with Him." He has also commented that he likes American rap and would like to "fuse the Colombian flavor with the music of singers like Drake and Rihanna."
