Born on the tropical island of Jamaica AJ Wilson stands out as a unique singer and songwriter that is flexible in every genre with the possession of deep Caribbean ties. Raised in a hard-working family and being the only person with any musical orientation AJ is seeking to make his print on the musical world. From a very early age he became heavily involved in music starting with kindergarten talent shows, high school band rehearsals, high School choir rehearsals as well as forming singing groups, when it came to flexing music muscles nothing was ever off-limits. Humbled and forever changed by the fact that he lost his father at the age of 5 AJ sings as a way of keeping his father's memory and legacy alive and with that in mind he's been driven to gain recognition with international impact which started for him with entering Jamaica's biggest talent competition known as Digicel Rising Stars. In the year 2011 AJ entered Digicel Rising Stars under the young group known as V3 and though they didnāt win it was the start of what became his passion for performing music.
