Sharif

Mohamed Sharif Fernández Méndez, known professionally as Sharif, was born on January 17, 1980, in Zaragoza, Spain, and is a Spanish rap MC. He began his musical journey in 1994 with the group Fuck Tha Posse, releasing their first demo tape, Demasiado honor para tanta hambre, in 1998. In 2006, he formed Tr3s Monos with Pablo Carrouché and Lex Luthorz, a rap group with soul influences, releasing two albums, ¿Quién es Simone Staton? (2007) and Buscando a Simonee Staton (2008). Sharif's solo career commenced in 2010 with the album A Ras de Sueño. His subsequent albums include Sobre los Márgenes (2013), produced by Lex Luthorz, and Bajo el rayo que no cesa (2015). He has collaborated extensively with artists such as Rapsusklei and Morgan.
