Sammy Kershaw

 Samuel Paul Kershaw, born on February 24, 1958, is a prominent American country music artist hailing from Kaplan, Louisiana. With a career spanning over four decades, Kershaw has cemented his place in the country music scene, releasing 16 studio albums and numerous hit singles. Notably, his single "She Don't Know She's Beautiful" topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, while other hits like "Cadillac Style", "Haunted Heart", and "Queen of My Double-Wide Trailer" secured spots in the Top 10. Despite his musical success, Sammy Kershaw ventured into politics, running for lieutenant governor of Louisiana in 2007 and 2010 as a Republican candidate.
