Stage name Anacy, is an Indie Pop artist and songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. Anacy’sparents manifested her career in Arts & Entertainment, naming her Anacy Rose Tainton, which makes up her initials, ART. She was introduced to music, and dance at a tender age.
Anacy has landed many Spotify editorials, including the cover of the Pop SA Today in Africa playlist and Fresh Hits. Her song Hot Mess has currently been number one on GQ Radio's Top 10 chart for two weeks and is also at number nine on the KC Radio Top 10, dominating radio and streaming platforms.
Anacy is committed to creating music that challenges and inspires, pushing the boundaries of conventional pop music and inviting listeners to explore the depths of their desires. Her latest single Delight is out 21 June 2024.
