Sebastian Kamae

Whether you're relaxing on a Sunday morning or hanging out with your friends, Dutch producer Sebastian Kamae brings the right vibes. Groovy drums, live instruments, jazzy melodies and dusty sounds are some of the main ingredients in his music. Born in 1997 in a small city in the Netherlands, Sebastian started his journey at only 5 years old. Quickly, he discovered his love for the piano and started making beats in high school. While developing his skills, Kamae played keys in several bands. He decided to study Music Production & Audio engineering at ArtEZ and graduated as a Bachelor of Arts in 2018. After graduating, he spend some time in Chicago, where he got the chance to connect with a a lot of upcoming artists from the city.. His first album, Waves (2018) & 2nd album Enjoy the Ride (2019) were a direct result. During this time, Sebastian started releasing a lot of instrumental music and collaborations with other producers in the instrumental hiphop scene. Most of his music was released independently but he has also worked with labels such as Blue Note Records / Astralwerks, & PLYGRND Music. In 2024, after amassing over 250 million streams, Sebastian shifts his focus from producer to artist into his new project, KAMAE, where he steps out of the background. Sebastian Kamae will remain an outlet for his instrumental beats and productions for other artists.
