The Homme (pronounced "home") is a New York based indie rock / indie pop band with a sound reminiscent of The Killers, The Strokes and Radiohead. Recording in their basement studio below the quiet suburbs of Long Island, New York, The Homme blend a driving rhythm section with guitars floating above that creates a rhythmic, ambient sound reminiscent of their beach surroundings.
It's often tough to find complexity in music built around simplicity, but The Homme make the case throughout their sound. On their debut single 'Silver Lake,' The Homme unabashedly anchor a pop melody around 60’s beach rock guitars, synth tidal waves and hot rod driving bass and drums to create this sonic ode to a Summer fling. On their self-produced Tides EP, the Homme continue to blend genres with ambient indie guitars, dreamy synths, soaring pop melodies, Latin rhythm, and driving grooves.
The Homme is Bryan Eich (Lead Vocals / Guitar / Keys), Connor Owens (Bass / Guitar), Dan Pfeifer (Drums / Percussion) and JJ Sarle (Vocals / Guitar).
