Cavo is an American rock band formed in 2001 in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally performing under the name Hollow, the group changed its name later that year and built a regional following with the EP A Space to Fill (2002) and their live shows. Their debut album, The Painful Art of Letting Go, was released in 2006. Their breakthrough came after signing with Reprise Records, when Bright Nights Dark Days (2009) produced the Number 1 Mainstream Rock hit "Champagne" and the single "Crash," which reached number 6 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. The song "Let It Go" was also featured in the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Cavo followed with Thick as Thieves (2012), which charted on the Billboard 200, and Bridges (2016). Known for its hard rock, post-grunge, and alternative rock sound, the band has toured with acts including Shinedown, Halestorm, Chevelle, and Daughtry.
