Adept

Adept is a Swedish metalcore band from Trosa, Sweden, formed in 2004. The original lineup consisted of Robert Ljung on vocals, Jerry Repo and Jacob Papinniemi on guitars, Tobias Ottoson on bass, and Gabriel Hellmark on drums. In their early years, Adept released several self-financed demos and EPs, including Hopeless Illusions (2004) and The Rose Will Decay (2006). Their breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Another Year of Disaster (2009). Adept signed with Panic & Action Records and embarked on extensive tours, including a European tour supporting A Day to Remember. Their lineup released two more albums under this label: Death Dealers (2011) and Silence the World (2013). In 2015, Adept switched to Napalm Records and released the album Sleepless (2016). Throughout their career, Adept performed at numerous festivals such as Nova Rock, Pukkelpop, and Summer Breeze. Other notable releases include the album Blood Covenant (2025) and the single "Heaven" (2025).
