Hi Friends, My new version of "Afterglow" is there yesssssss
He was born in Teresina / Brazil and grew up in the city of Recife. At the age of five he started singing as much as he can remember, there was always music in his life. At the age of 14 he went to Germany, began to write songs for friends, and it wasn't long before he made his first contact with the music industry, which discovered his talent for singing and composing very early on, and with it his first writing contract. Soon he started writing songs for BMG Berlin, his contract with BMG lasted two years. Then he went to Spain to try an independent career.
There he met the German producer Sven Kirschner who introduced him to Frank Farian, the Boney and Mili Vanili producers. From there he went to Miami to record his first album. There Daniel met his duo partner Julien, who later went on tour with him in Germany. This was followed by appearances at The Dome, Popcom Gala among others. The project was very promising. The first joint single (Kiss on my list) was finally released in September 2001 in Germany and the USA.
The two were well received but it shouldn't be. The 9/11 tragedy hit the happy duo really hard and their single was named by the market. Daniel and Julien, aka D.J, then went their separate ways. Daniel stayed in Miami until 2002 and, at his mother's request, went back to Germany to take part in the DSDS competition. Daniel's mother made his application without his knowledge and we didn't tell him until Daniel was invited to the casting.
Daniel sang acapella for the jury and especially enchanted Dieter Bohlen. Dieter said to Daniel: "You look like a superstar, you sing like one and no matter what happens here you will be very gorsser. I swear that to you. That was a great feeling. Daniel kept coming. Then it should be in the Live shows go and there were only 3 places left. Daniel got the first place with 35% of the vote against 30 other competitors.
DSDS was a huge success and so was his career. Daniel was the favorite of the show and so the pressure was always greater for Daniel. When the information came out that Daniel was under contract with BMG, it was said that it was a postponement and Daniel would already be the winner. It was unfair to the other competitor and so Daniel was kicked out the next week. That was not true, but unfortunately Daniel lost the opportunity to win.
Today Daniel is concentrating on his career and still wants to spend as much time as possible with his family. Stay tuned for his new album.
