Malignancy

Malignancy, an American technical death metal band from Yonkers, New York, formed in 1992. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Danny Nelson and guitarist Javier Velez. They released the first demo, Eaten Out from Within (1993). After several lineup changes and additional demos, they secured a deal with United Guttural Records in 1998 and released the debut album, Intrauterine Cannibalism (1999). In 2006, they signed with Willowtip Records and released the second full-length album, Inhuman Grotesqueries (2007). The third full-length album, Eugenics (2012), was notable for being the first concept record. They released EPs such as Epilogue (2014) and Malignant Future (2016). They later released the album ...Discontinued (2024). Other notable releases include the EP Motivated by Hunger (2000) and the compilation Ignorance Is Bliss (2001).
