Author, composer, performer and multi-instrumentalist born in Paris, Michael Jacob primarily devoted himself to drums and keyboards. Surrounded by a family of talented musicians and strongly influenced by the music of the amazing Stevie Wonder, he turned towards singing at the age of 13.
In 2013, he released "Blue", his debut EP, accompanied by Julien Cohen and guitarist Bruno Caviglia, followed by his first album "Prelude to Love" 2 years later. He continued to release new projects, such as the album "Moonlight" (2016) dedicated to his father, which includes 9 wonderfully produced tracks combining funk and soul !
For his latest EP, entitled "More" (2020), Michael Jacob called on talented Cuban musicians (brass and percussion) to diversify his musical universe, but also reworked some of his tracks in more classic versions for string quartet.
In "142", his new album, he gets back to his beloved funk with groovy anthems and takes us on a journey to the origins of soul.
