Heavens Edge

Heavens Edge is an American glam metal band from Philadelphia formed in 1987 by Reggie Wu and Mark Evans. The group released their debut album, Heavens Edge, on June 24, 1990, through Columbia Records, which reached number 141 on the Billboard 200. During this period, they released a music video for the single “Skin to Skin”. While performing at the Empire Rock Club, bassist George "G.G." Guidotti was shot by a patron. The band recorded a second album in 1992, but it was not released until 1998 under the title Some Other Place, Some Other Time. After a period of inactivity, the original members reunited in 2013 for the Firefest festival. Guidotti died from lung cancer on August 18, 2019. The band resumed activity with new bassist Jaron Gulino in 2020 and released the album Get It Right on May 12, 2023.
