Social Insanity was re-established as physical band in 2009 in Colorado Springs, CO by Johnny Insanity. in 2009, Social Insanity released a self titled EP. Then in 2010, due to the nature of Personal Profession, Johnny Insanity had to move away and returned Social Insanity to an internet entity. In 2014 and 2016 Social Insanity working with various musicians released two singles.
Then in the winter of 2016, Johnny Insanity decided to reestablish Social Insanity into a physical band again in Colorado Springs, CO.
He linked up with his previous bass player, Jesse "Z" Scanlan from Social Insanity's 2009 line up and created a new line up.
In 2018, Social Insanity was performing around Colorado Springs local venues and creating a name for itself. In August 2019, they released a full 10 songs album, "Delirium" and released a few Music Videos on YouTube. They went on regional tours to support the album, performing in Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. Delirium consisted of SamYell Pearson on vocals, Z Guitar (former Bassist), Wiley Lowe on Bass, Ray Dolph Jr on Drums and Johnny Insanity on Guitar.
In January 2020, SamYell Pearson (MO) decided to step down as vocals due to his private profession and geographical location. In February 2020, Social Insanity picked up Stacie Merrie on vocals. With the Pandemic emerging, Social Insanity focused on writing new material and settling Stacie into the line up and music. Social Insanity performed 3 shows that year in Colorado Springs & Denver. In 2021, they released a two song EP "Twenty Twenty One" featuring Stacie on Vocals, which included a new song Repent and a remake of Retain from the 2019 Delirium Album.
In May 2021, Social Insanity began their "gig" season in OK playing in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, which also ended the line up.
So now Johnny Insanity has a new line up and a new album is set to release in 2022 "Ides of Time".
