Flor y Amor Joven

Flor y Amor Joven is a Mexican cumbia sonidera group fronted by Floresita Marín, known to fans as “La Voz Dulce de las Cumbias Sonideras.” The project grew from the Amor Joven family circle connected to her father, Ismael Marín, and by 2021 Floresita Marín was marking 19 years under the Flor y Amor Joven name. The group built its identity around romantic cumbia, sonidera rhythm and keyboard-led arrangements, with early favorites such as “El Condor Pasa,” “Sin Ti,” “Sin Razón” and “No Vuelvas Más.” Its 2018 albums Fresh & Cumbia and Cumbia De Altura helped bring that sound to a wider cumbia audience, with Cumbia De Altura including “El Condor Pasa” and “Cumbia Shalimar.” Flor y Amor Joven followed with Meraki in 2020 and Cosas Bonitas in 2022, then released Antesis in 2023, including “Te Amaré Hasta el Final.” The group stayed active with romantic and dance-focused singles such as “Tonto Corazón,” “Despechada” with Los JR’s, “Cuando Nace El Amor,” “Reina Del Amor (Wepa),” “La Desilusión, Me Enamoré De La Persona Equivocada,” “La Peligrosa,” “Si Quieres Terminar” and “Hola Morrito.”
