Tyler Garcia-Posey, known professionally as Tyler Posey, was born on October 18, 1991, in Santa Monica, California. He began his career as a child actor before transitioning into music. In 2009, he co-founded the band Lost in Kostko, which released the eight-track EP You're Going to Need a Towel in 2011. Later, Posey formed PVMNTS with Freddy Ramirez and Nick Guzman; their debut single, ""Standing (On My Own Two Feet)"", was released on June 14, 2018, followed by the EP Better Days. In 2019, Posey started a new project with Five North, releasing the single ""This Mess"" on October 4, 2019, and the debut EP Scumbag on March 6, 2020. He has also released solo EPs, including Drugs (September 8, 2021) and UNRAVEL (2023).
