I'm, Chenél No.1, a South African songwriter and lyricist. Announced the winner of the Best Newcomer Songwriter for the Afri-Indie Independent Music Awards 2022 there is so much more songs to come. My EP Turquoise Tears has proven to be a firm favourite amongs listeners and also the rock 'n roll tune Play it Again. Hey Rose is a collaboration project that I did with Rose Alaimo, which consists of 3 singer songwriter styled songs. Master of Disguise highlights issues of mental health where as Hercules is a spunky rock song with cool guitar riffs and You have to breathe has a vintage Motown rock feel to it that I wrote during lockdown.
