DE WOLT is a psychedelic synth-electronic duo project of Stefano Berryfeels Di Puma and Danny Kotz.
Kotz, who has his musical roots in the electronic dance music club scene of Berlin joined forces with Berryfeels, who has a rich background in Live acoustic music and stage performance.
The fusion of these two worlds results in a mix of 80's sound aesthetic, psychedelic visions, songwriting arrangement and rock-n-roll attitude.
2012 was the year when the Israeli producer and DJ Danny Kotz came back to his homeland, after spending his last 6 years rocking and rolling in Berlin’s notorious club scene. Influenced by those dark and gloomy romantic experiences he started to experiment with a totally new field for him at that time; song writing. As time passed by, more and more songs accumulated but never managed to take a final shape. Something was missing.
Fast forward to January 2019 in Berlin. Kotz was in the middle of looking for other artists to share his studio space in Neukolln. One of the new partners was Stefano Di Puma a.k.a. Berryfeels, an Italian singer and multi-instrumentalist. Kotz who was looking for feedback for his work, presented him the old sketches of his songs. The click was immediate and the two started rehearsing and working toward their first live show and debut EP. This time backed by the vocals, guitars and the electronic drums of Berryfeels. And so the long uncompleted project was finally transformed into the band known as De Wolt.
