Hammer Hurtado is a singer and song writer with a strong passion for dance. He was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, but he lives in Rome, Italy now.He began his musical career in the AMARILLYS trio, with the song "El Boogaloo", produced by RWM and Verba Manent.
This song was a real success, so that it reached the top 10 latin chart in several radios, including Radio Mambo 106.9. In 2009 Hammer animated the Roman summer nights in the famous Fiesta club with his summer hits "Hip cumbia" and "Repella".
In 2013 he was awarded by the F.I.D. (Italian Dance Federation) with a special plaque for his artistic talent, during the 16th edition of "David di Michelangelo alla Coreografia e al Talento Artistico" at Tendastrisce theater in Rome.In 2015 he launched a new single Timido (feat. Murilo Sonyc) a romantic, autobiographical reggaeton, that was presented at the White club in Rome. Three years later the Italian telephone company Noitel selected this song as the soundtrack of their promotional spots and hired Hammer as their testimonial. In 2016 Hammer performed "El Pega Pega" with Big Miami in the most important salsa convention in Italy, Eventopeople festival, with the Zumba fitness founder Beto Perez. This song was produced by WAU (World Artists United). In 2019 the new single Ella, a sweet reggaeton dedicated to women.
