Currently based in the vibrant city of Vancouver, BC, Stands on Sapphires is a symphonic hard rock trio driven by the unwavering faith and passion of husband and wife, lead vocalist Bethany Rose and guitarist Trevor Isaac, alongside their best friend and bassist, Wade Britz. The band has carved out a niche for themselves with their unique sound deemed “Anthemic Dark Rock”.
Formed in obedience to a higher calling in 2019, Trevor and Bethany, both devout Christians, embarked on a musical journey to share their faith through their music. Drawing inspiration from bands like Skillet, Van Halen, Meatloaf, Shinedown, and In This Moment, as well as Periphery and Dream Theater, Stands on Sapphires crafts songs that are equally challenging and empowering, serving as anthems for life's journey.
With two full albums, several covers, and singles under their belt, SonS is currently hard at work on their highly anticipated third album. Titled "Anhedonia: Death & Resurrection," this double album has been in the works since late 2022, promising a rich tapestry of musical exploration and emotional depth.
As a female-fronted band, Stands on Sapphires strives to foster a sense of community among their loyal fan base, whom they affectionately refer to as "Gems."
