Abandoned by his parents in a dumpster, Bobby Winter’s journey is a testimony as to how The Lord can raise up from the lowliest a person to deliver His message and become a vessel that leads others into God’s presence through anointed music.
Although known to many as Pastor Bob he has always had a heart of a Psalmist and found the mercy and love of God through the gift of music and the gift given to him as a singer.
The pastor of Evangelical Sanctified Church in Indianapolis, IN, Bobby has been singing since the age of 11, finding both solace and joy in music.
Few years ago, he released his first album, ‘Jezi mwen’, a trilingual album sung in Creole, French and English to much critical acclaim. The unique and diverse collection of songs has also been a calling for many into the arms of The Lord. And he later released his latest single ‘Pray For America’ which is purposely designed to encourage others to pray for America.
His goals in life are: “to impact the world through worship music and through sound preaching.”
He says: “I was found in a dumpster, and my parents decided not to keep me, but God reached down and pulled me up. And, God uttered these words to me “You are a piece of gold found in a dumpster, so is everyone who does not know me”. Therefore, “My mission is to pull others out of the spiritual dumpster the same way I was pulled out of a literal dumpster.”
