Antonio "Tony" Terry, born on 12 March 1964 in Washington D.C., is an American R&B and new jack singer and actor. He graduated from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and began his career as a backing vocalist for groups like Sweet Sensation and The Boogie Boys. In 1987, Tony Terry signed with Epic/CBS Records and released his debut single "She's Fly", which peaked at number 10 on the Billboard R&B singles chart. His first album, Forever Yours, was released in 1988 and reached the top 40 of Billboard’s R&B albums chart. The follow-up single "Lovey Dovey" reached number four on the R&B charts, and "Forever Yours" entered the R&B top 20.
In 1989, Tony Terry collaborated with Flame on the song "On the Strength", which reached number 59 on the Billboard R&B singles chart. His self-titled second album, released in 1990, included his biggest hit "With You", which peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned him two Soul Train Music Award nominations for Single of the Year and Artist of the Year. After leaving Epic, he moved to Virgin Records and released Heart of a Man in 1994. He also contributed background vocals on Yolanda Adams' single "Gotta Have Love". Tony Terry has performed on soundtracks for films such as Gladiator, Tap, and King's Ransom. I Tony 6 came out in 2015. House single "Conga Deep" arrived in 2022.
