Working on new music for a 2023 release!
CALE is the Celtic music brainchild of Andy Beck. Based in Glasgow, Andy writes and performs songs that blend traditional folk music with contemporary influences. The first result was 2017's "Even From Here", where acoustic guitar, tin whistle and banjo cross paths with drums, bass and occasional bursts of synth. The lyrics celebrate living life to the fullest, and the humour will be sure to catch you out!
In 2020, Andy returned with "Cate Maguire's Polka", an uplifting tune that has amassed over 100,000 streams. Andy's newest single, "Siberian Iris", is an anti-war song written about the terrible Russian-Ukraine conflict. To keep up to date, hit that "Follow" button!
