Vorsen is the name for London-based producer/singer-songwriter Oliver Halvorsen. Oliver is part of UK collective ‘NIGHT FLIGHT’ - who have won over fans none other than Sir Elton John, and have supported the likes of Paul Simon and James Taylor. As a solo artist, Oliver released his debut single ’Say All the Right Things’ in 2019 which was featured on triple J’s ‘5 Best New Songs of the Week’ and was praised by the station as “a great debut” and “so special”.
In 2020, Oliver began work on his forthcoming EP ‘Real Life’ in the bedroom of his London flat after a significant relationship had deteriorated. Vorsen weaves lush atmospheric textures with percussive elements from his immediate surroundings to create a seamless mesh of his musical sensibilities. His warm, intimate vocals deliver melancholic melodies in a way that is both captivating and uplifting. Oliver continues to successfully juxtapose the emotion in his lyrics with bold and organic production that is simply stunning.
