No Angels in Providence is an American rock artist from Providence, Rhode Island US created by composer Joshua Aaron Runk. No Angels in Providence was created during a solo acoustic tour in 2019. While performing live Joshua wrote and recorded a demo album titled 'Story of Hopefully'. Those songs would lead towards the first official studio release 'Rock & Roll No Matter What They Say' recorded at Starlight Studios in Rhode Island US.
The album spawned five singles: “Generation Alone”, “Will It Hurt”, “Wish”, “When Days Won’t Shine”, and a Special Edition compact disc for the songs “Killers” and “Lasting Goodbye”. They were made available for digital download and streaming before the record debuted July 20, 2020. This was the first album distributed by J.J. Starlight Music.
Writing immediately began in April 2020 for a second studio record. The sophomore album for No Angels in Providence titled 'Angel Made Hurt' was recorded from October 2020 through March 2021. Five official singles were released for the 'Angel Made Hurt' album. 'Angel Made Hurt' was made available everywhere for digital and streaming distribution on April 21, 2021. Joshua recorded and produced the 'Angel Made Hurt' album at Starlight Studios in Rhode Island US once again. Instead of issuing a Special Edition release for the 'Angel Made Hurt' record, J.J. Starlight Music issued five singles that were written during post-production for the AMH (Angel Made Hurt) studio sessions: “Hero”; “Something Beautiful 2.0”; “Hero (Uncut)”; “Little Starlight”; “Elate”.
Joshua Aaron Runk is currently finishing production of the third studio album for No Angels in Providence scheduled for 2024 release everywhere. No Angels in Providence is moving forward with releasing the entire music catalogue on physical records and some compact disc formats. Digital downloads will be available in the forward on the office No Angels in Providence website.
No Angels in Providence will be on tour this fall in the United States.
