Mikaela and Michael lost their infant son at 35 weeks. In her grief Micaela turned from her faith. Fred Colby's wife went to Heaven after decades of marriage. In a moment, his life changed as he knew it. While looking for resources for widowers (which he couldn't find) his therapist told him to write the book, which he did! It's called Widower to Widower. "I realize it was just a very different experience for us men, and that we did not know how to reach out. We didn't know how to admit that we needed help."

Susan led a beautiful life with her husband and son then one day it all changed in an instant when her husband took his own life. It’s a hard subject to talk about but Susan does it with grace and lots of love and now leads a grief group for those whose loved ones died by suicide. Susan’s empathy has also led her to lead a group for widows and a place on the board of directors for Widow Might. Donna Rudd was 35 years old with three young boys when her life changed in an instant. Her husband Brian was in a car accident and did not make it. Donna wrote a book called “Forever Hope.” Her message focuses on everyone learning from the troubles they encounter. Why? Because God is our forever hope. Donna talks not only about the loss of her spouse but also about other huge losses in her life and how now she is encouraging others with her faith and her experiences.
