Dr. Nick Gatzke serves as the Senior Pastor of Old North Church in Canfield, Ohio.His work includes preaching and teaching the Bible, vision casting, leading the staff, and working with the church’s elders in providing leadership, oversight and spiritual care for the church. Nick’s greatest joy in ministry is seeing how God changes lives through the preaching of the Scriptures.He is married to Amy and together they have three young children: Alexa, Noelle and Carsten. In his spare time, Nick enjoys good conversations with friends, laughing, good books, golf, hiking, fishing and chasing his kids around.Nick’s journey in ministry has taken him many places. He has previously served the Lord in Chicago, Boston, London, England and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Nick received his education and training at Moody Bible Institute (B.A.), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and the London School of Theology (PhD).He has previously served as the President of the Evangelical Homiletics Society and currently serves with his denomination, Converge, and as a visiting lecturer in Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
