The podcast dedicated to personal growth, living intentionally, and walking in your purpose. Li strongly encourages everyone to write their vision on paper. Using our words is the only way to create the days, weeks, years, and life we want. The seven pillars of selfcare has really helped me with my journey in falling back in love with myself. Though the battle was and is still challenging, I want everyone to fall back in love with themselves, and reach your highest potential. Good Morning Listeners!Selfcare with Li the Podcasts is back, i wanted to provide tips on how to learn to love love yourself, and letting go toxic patterns and behaviors. I know, this is a pretty deep topic for someone who has taken a brief hiatus, but i wanted to come back to the show from the summer self love series and spill all the tea on what I have learned through the process and the journey of self love. I am happily in love with myself again, but, it took a lot of hard work, it was not easy and honestly I am not done. I wanted to spread the love, in case you too, have forgotten to take care of yourself, forgive yourself, and to love on yourself. Life be Life-ING, i know that we pick up behavior and toxic traits by the life situatations or circumstances, but I am here to tell you, do not forget who you are during the tough times. I want to provide you with a little bit of my experience in this episode, to provide a safe space for you to feel and to let go. It takes time, although I spent my entire summer tapping back into loving myself, I am still growing through and learning how to love myself unconditionally and through the tough times. I want you to know that you are not alone, you are capable and deserve love. You must learn to let go of the hurt and the baggage and release the toxicity by changing your habits and your perspective. Good Morning Listeners! LETS IMPROVE OUR HEALTH! Welcome to another episode of SELFCARE WITH LI, the SUMMER SELF LOVE SERIES. This series, I want to talk about all things that are important when you are loving on yourself and becoming a better version of yourself. Moving your body and adding physical activity to your daily selfcare routine adds more benefits to your life and you know I believe in improving your overall well being and adding physical activity allows you to become your best self, and release negativity such as depression and anxiety from your mental. You are in control of becoming a better you! You have come this far to go further, you are an asset! To begin your journey in healthy living, you have to move around, change the scenery and really love on you! Personally, as time has moved forward and I work from home, I have developed some bad habits, such as over eatisng and not moving around. I noticed that I was barely getting steps in. I begin to research movement and how many steps you are supposed to have and its 9,000-10,000 that will change your life! It reduces death , minimizes risks for cardiovascular disease, and improves your overall mental health. This changed my views on how I live my daily life and what should be done in my selfcare routine. IT WAS TIME TO MOVE! I downloaded class pass to have more options, I realized quickly I am not just a gym girly, I love yoga, pilates, and cycling! It was time to change my routine and develop healthier habits. Having options allow me to feel more free in the way I get exercise in. I encourage you, if you have not done so alread to download classpass and try out classes and get involved in community! Broaden your horizons and move your body!I want to improve my health and my overall well being, the foods that we are consuming, are not the best for us. I do not want to add to the negative impacts of bad foods by not moving around and working on my internal health. I want to be able to say I am healthy and really mean it. I want to move around and improve my mental wellbeing, like the saying says, you are what you eat. Lets be proactive and not reactive. Lets move our bodies and get more steps in! I believe that adding physical activity to our selfcare routines, will set the tone for how we live our lives. We are working together to reach our highest potential. Good Morning Listeners,Happy SELFCARE WEDNESDAY! In this episode, I encourage you to add meditation to your selfcare routine, I speak on the importance of meditating before and after your day of work, or any challenging things that you have going on within your day-to-day responsibilities, to find balance and to tap in with yourself. I speak on how meditation helps me to rejuvenate and become centered. I believe meditation is a super power, the more you use it, the great er you become. I believe that meditation changed my life and transformed me into the woman I am today. As you know I begin each episode with meditation and I believe its important for my listeners to also add a daily meditation practice. If you are currently building a selfcare routine, it is important that you have a meditation practice. I believe it allows you to control your breathing through the times your overstimulated and your mind is wandering with negative and intrusive thoughts, it allows time for you to really tap in and breathe through your challenges and dificulties. I want to remind you to allow yourself to be free during this time and really feel the state that your body goes through when you're practicing deep breathing exercises. Along with breathwork, words of affirmation play a huge role in my meditation practice, as you can tell, I believe in speaking positivity in your day as you're getting ready to conquer the day. These two tips will allow you to practice meditation, build your own routine and really set the tone for the day. The Mind, Body, and Spirit are all important, meditation allows time to strengthen each and become more powerful before you began your practice and after to take on your day! Good Morning Listeners,Happy Wednesday! I am so happy to be back with you all , Summer is almost here! I wanted to dedicate this episode to the Emotional selfcare building block, especially as we are so close to summer and you're around family and friends and still balancing responsibilities, that could lead to pressure and or stress, maybe even anxiety, I know that it can be difficult to juggle work/life, when you are feeling angry, disrespected, mad, sad and or all emotions. I want to provide useful tips when you're under alot of pressure. I want you to gain control over your emotions, process them, and determine if the circumstance, situation, and or person deserves your response and or reaction.Alot can change in an instant, it is important to be well prepared. I discussed in previous podcasts on impulsivity, I believe that if you suffer with impulsive behaviors, this podcasts will help center and ground you when you are feeling reactive and or acting off of emotions or feelings. I believe we can be the best versions of ourselves if we just take time out to be more intentional about everything within the day. I believe that you are capable of all things that you put your mind too. Impulsivity is so easy to fall into but I want to provide tips to minimize and eventually eliminate impulsive behaviors from your mindset and your lifestyle. On this episode, I want it to feel like a safe place, I know it can not be only me who experience impulsivity eras or moments. It requires time to develop healthy behaviors that will ultimately eliminate impulsive behaviors from your lifestyle, but it requires ALOT OF WORK!NO FEAR! I am here for you, i know that everyday we are giving the opportunity to be better than who we were yesterday. Here is another day we have a chance to work at reaching our highest potential and becoming successful. I just want to remind us that there are behaviors that may distract us from our end goals and impulsivity can distract and also navigate to places where your bigger picture becomes blurry. During the experience of impulsive behaviors, we must remember why we started in the first place. We are bigger than impulsivity.With these tips, I believe you will be able to include them into your daily inner self work. Good Morning my Listeners! Welcome back to another episode of Selfcare with Li. As you know the show is all about reaching your highest potential. Today I want to discuss creating a healthy mindset routine to reach your goals and achieve all things you put your mind too! I know you have heard before that an idle mind is the devils playground. If you break up your brainstorming into categories of Morning, Afternoon, and Evening, you will be able to list out the many activities, hobbies, and events that ill give you opportunities to grow and evolve and eventually meet your goals. I want you to know maintaining a healthy mindset routine is not an easy task. I myself, fall off, relapse, and take time off from the bigger picture because I do not pursue the things that will keep me busy. I vow on the show today to not give up and keep working at building and maintaining a healthy mindset routine , so I can continue to show up for myself and be my best self.It is so imperitive to work on yourself , write your strategies down, and have them near by to view and see on a daily basis. By writing all things down, it holds you accountable. If you're no stranger to the show you know I am a firm believe in writing your vision on paper. You are the prize, you are capable, and you have the tools to reach your highest potential. You just have to remember to keep your mind busy at a healthy pace. I have found myself balancing work and content and having a social life etc. I also found myself worrying about the pettiest, smallest, and insignifcant things that have allowed my anxiety levels to RISE! I am here today to claim that we are releasing fear and worry and anxiety from our entire being today. It is imperative we release so we can move forward and do the best we can with what we have! Welcome Back Listeners! Its Wednesday, another episode of Selfcare with Li! I hope you all are doing amazing and reaching all your goals, we are at humpday and we are officially half way through the week! I am rooting for you and you know you got this! I want to thank my listners for supporting this podcasts, and the youtube channel. I, myself take a lot of tasks and projects, thinking i can get it all done without feeling burnout or anxiety. I quickly remember that I am just human and I too can feel anxiety when putting myself out there, networking, content creation, and all things that come with this job. Honestly I have to realize that I am not superwoman and I too, need time to reset, restart and refocus to ensure I am going on the right path. I must take time to do so. Thank goodness for selfcare! In this episode, i talk about the process of resetting, restarting, and refocusing! When you are a hardworker, a hustler, and a goal getter, at times , you can overwhelm yourself with projects and tasks and its easy to forget why you started! Happy Wednesday my Lovelies,I have missed you, you know I am dibbling and dabbling into YouTube, and the last episode was a visual. However, I can't forget about where I started, and I want to continue the podcasts via podcasts streaming platforms. Forgive me for taking a brief hiatus while I figured this out! I love it here and you all that support me. In this episode we dive into the inevitable challenges and hardships that we face mentally as Entreprenuers, Creatives, Corporate workers who are aiming to perfect our craft, gain a promotion, make a sale, make a good investment and etc. I believe it is important to prioritize selfcare during these challenging times but also realize that selfcare is more than the GLITZ AND GLAM, it is prioritizing yourself through difficulty. There are 12 pillars of selfcare and i want to provide tips to remember selfcare when you feel like giving up.I want to encourage you during this time also to know that you prayed to come this far and you prayed for the circumstance you are in now. Although you might experience rejection or failure in the moment it is just temporary, you will reach your highest potential and I will keep you focused in this episode to stay on the path and keep your mind on the bigger picture.I believe in you, and i want you to understand that it is completely normal to feel emotional as you go through difficult times, challenging times, and hardship, but it is important to remember why you started.
