Encouragingly for us, the crux of what Lloyd-Jones was saying 61 years ago in 1963 is the same embryonic train of thought as the things I have written in The Glorious Few in 2023, (60 years hence).“If I am right in my diagnosis, the position is moving very rapidly and unless we do something, it may be too late; or we may be so overwhelmed in disaster that it will only be out of a terrible wreckage that we may gradually crawl out into a new position. Edward opened up about the inordinate pressures that he and his family are being put under by the godless government of the land which now means that a bottle of water is more expensive (of more worth) than a bottle of milk. But what does this have to do with eating at McDonald's and shopping with Amazon? In today's episode of Into the Pray we explain why we've recently stopped eating McDonald's and shopping with Amazon. An elderly lady in her 90s wasn’t sure what I meant when I publicly announced during a sermon in a local church recently that it was the Lord Who closed our churches in 2020. It’s a tender picture: a fine Christian lady in her ninth decade struggling to grasp the need of God to “smite” His Bride.Uncertainty about this is completely understandable but this video below addresses what is now a chasm of more than 3 years in church history.It is insane to ask the question in the middle of the night and then, come the morning, refuse to listen to the answer.Thank you for listening.
