Its one to develop an animated series surrounding He-Man cause ultimately its a property that started out being made for the sake of selling toys much like alot of cartoons that came out in the 80s. Over the years though, the He-Man lore started gaining traction especially on the comic book side which lent itself to more semi-serious endeavors like the early 2000's Animated series and the recent Netflix show. In comes this movie which takes some of the silly aspects of the 80s show and mixes it in with the serious material and gives you a very fun and straightforward movie that is very unapologetic in what it is. Its a film thats very confident with the source material and it shows top to bottom from the performances(especially Jared Leto's Skeletor) to the world of Eternia. This is a movie that comes alive with its energy. Its definitely worth the watch even if you aren't a big He-Man fan.

You can easily go into this film not watching the tv show because the movie through its actions tells you all you need to know not only about Mando but also of Grogu and the dynamics between the two. Great set pieces, solid visual effects, and a simple yet engaging story makes for a fun watch from beginning to end.

By itself, this second movie presumes you not only watched the first film but you also have an understanding of the UC stories particularly the film, Char's Counterattack, which heavily factors into the continuing story of Hathaway Noa. Overall, Sorcery of Nymph Circe is a solid 2nd entry leading into the 3rd act of Hathaway Noa and his mission to take down the Earth Federation. Solid visuals and even the music choices do a great job of immersing you into the story of Hathaway, Kenneth, & GiGi's character progression.

Its an excellent throwback to the Grindhouse Revenge flicks and every person in this film brings their A game. You really feel for the twin sisters, Racine & Anaia, as they set about taking revenge at there mom's behest as they navigate there feelings on it.

This is a film that gets straight to the point from beginning to end and it works due to the excellent pacing. This is a movie that touches on Michael Jackson as a person but is more concerned with the spectacle that was MJ once the music hits. Its a shame too because you can see the potential that this film could've really been and yet it never hits the highs to really give insight to MJ the person and the relationships he forged along the way that helped him become this iconic figure.

No one will argue that this movie isn't a classic in Black Hollywood. It gave us absolutely everything we wanted in a hood drug movie. Excellent acting, great writing and directing, and a very close to accurate story about AZ, Rich Porter and Alpo. #WonderMan #Marvel #Disney #YahyaAbdulMateenII #BenKingsley #MCU Wonder Man represents a different type of show in that its more concerned with being focused on the personal journey of the character than doing a typical heroes journey. In the grand scheme, its a smart choice. Wonder Man as a character has a very muddled history much like DC's Hawkman. So whats the best way to present the character in a streamlined way? Have the show structured around Simon Williams trying to make it in Hollywood while he's also trying to figure himself out. Pair him up with Trevor Slattery and you got a solid show that does a really good job of being self contained yet lowkey progressing certain aspects of the MCU. Definitely a must watch.

#TheMoment #CharliXCX The Moment is a film that wants to be 'This is Spinal Tap' so bad and its unfortunate that the film doesn't hit those entertaining heights that you expect out of a mockumentary. The movie plays into the real life rise of musician Charli XCX. If you're a fan of her then you'll probably enjoy the film for what it is. If you're someone that isn't familiar with her but you're hoping the film would give you an idea of Charli and her music then you're gonna be bored as hell. The film tries to hit you with comedy and drama but it doesn't really stick the landing on it. You end up with a very flat movie overall.
