Fertility and Sterility On Air - ESHRE 2023 Journal Club Global: "Recurrent implantation failure: reality or a statistical mirage?"
Presented in partnership with Fertility and Sterility onsite at the 2023 ESHRE 39th Annual Meeting in Copenhagen. To date, recurrent implantation failure (RIF) has no clear definition and no clearly identified impaired function. Hence, the term RIF is currently used somewhat haphazardly, on the basis of clinicians’ judgment. International experts in reproductive medicine met on July 1, 2022, in Lugano, Switzerland, to review the different facets of RIF and define the diagnosis and its appropriate management. This Journal Club Global, recorded on June 27, 2023 at the ESHRE conference, discusses the consensus statement from that meeting. Panelists include Eve Feinberg, MD, Dominique de Ziegler, MD, Paul Pirtea, MD, Anne Steiner, MD, Baris Ata, MD, MCT, and Edgardo Somigliana, MD, PhD.
