Hosted by Gen X moms, Kaanji Irby and Tara Campbell. These two women- one Black and one White- come from different worlds, but have become close friends through their shared experiences as suburban ‘boy moms,’ working women in male-dominated workplaces, and their love of 90s hip-hop. Listen in as they chat with each other and connect with guests about parenting and pop culture and the tragedies and triumphs of motherhood with honesty, empathy and humor.

In a special Labor Day episode, Kaanji and Tara are joined by two very special guests, fellow moms Dominique and Dianthe.   All four mothers share their wildly different labor and delivery stories that involve orange juice, epidurals, a presidential inauguration and Dominos pizza!  The one takeaway from each story is that when it comes to labor and motherhood, no amount of planning can prepare you for real life.  Kaanji and Tara are both anti-racism advocates and members of the leadership team for Embrace Action, an anti-racism advocacy and educational nonprofit organization.
