Send us a textDawn brings back Jennifer Sutton for Part III. After diving into unique selling positions and demystifying marketing vs. advertising in our previous episodes, Our marketing maven from Bright Marketing is back for Part 3! Dawn and Jennifer unpack the essential elements of media planning: the how, the why, and the when.In this episode…Who is Jennifer Sutton and whom does she serve? (1:05).Branding defines the "what" and "why" of a company. Marketing determines "how" the message is conveyed. Advertising focuses on "where" the brand is promoted. Each requires intentional effort and investment. (1:34)How does setting clear objectives for a marketing campaign impact the messaging and the actions you want people to take? (8:27)Major phases of a marketing funnel and why has the concept been misunderstood? (12:46)People often think about targeted ads on platforms like Facebook and YouTube, but what about local sponsorships? (19:12)Broader reach with short bursts of advertising has a lower cost per thousand but offers less targeting. More expensive advertising targets likely customers, resulting in a higher cost per thousand. (23:59)When planning media, consider long-term tactics like billboards, which stay up for years and build awareness over time. However, moving audiences from awareness to consideration and preference requires varied strategies.(24:01)How often must people see an ad to register? Pre-pandemic, it was 7-12 times; post-pandemic, it rose to 20-30 times. Today, a compelling message, integrated with the medium, can achieve results with fewer exposures. Send us a textSo it's been a while since I've done a solo show where I haven't had an amazing guest to interview, but this particular topic today is really not only very important to me, it's something that I've had to work on for the last few years, and it's something that is completely impacting where I am going now in about the next 90 days. And I wanted to share some of the insights with you and share some thoughts with you around this idea of extreme ownership and owning all of your business decisions. In this episode…Every business decision you have placed in front of you has one of four files that you could put it in, or one of four categories that you can put in, and it's the 4 D’s. It's the things that we can do, the things we can delegate, the things that we delete, and the things that we delay. (1:12).Delegation means that you're actually transferring that task or that decision or something to someone else with the expectation that they're going to execute it as you would. (4:05)People tend to have a problem with the things that they delay (10:44)Decision fatigue is a real thing when you make so many decisions every day, it's cognitively taxing and it can be cognitively exhausting(13:56)Being more intentional with what you do, what you delete, what you delegate, and what you delay will do two things for you… (17:29)Support the showSUPPORT THE SHOWDawn’s Website: https://dawnkkennedy.com/ Links and Freebies- https://dawnkkennedy.com/free/ In-Depth Information, Tips, and Strategies- https://dawnkkennedy.com/blog/ Thanks for listening. (16:01)How are we going to layer mindfulness to perceive situations as they truly are, enabling us to shape them according to our needs and desires? Can we assert that the true key to emotional intelligence lies in managing those emotions, enabling you to make necessary decisions in the moment, assured that whichever choice you make will be for the best? (22:06)It's going to be considered by a lot of people in the audience a little counterintuitive that, well, if it is making me feel bad, shouldn't I want to make it feel better? But you said you have to sit in the fire sometimes,  (24:56)Trigger management strategy(26:09)Kelly Resende’s Information.Contact#::(916) 834-1721EmaiSupport the showSUPPORT THE SHOWDawn’s Website: https://dawnkkennedy.com/ Links and Freebies- https://dawnkkennedy.com/free/ In-Depth Information, Tips, and Strategies- https://dawnkkennedy.com/blog/ Thanks for listening.
