Bleep Bulimia Episode 111 with Ana Escobar Spiritual Coach The Magic In Healing Focussing on Eating Disorders
I know this is a weird introduction, but the other night I watched Atlas with Jennifer Lopez.  In the movie, there were AI robots.  A couple of kinds.  The one that saved her was the one that she had to simulate her mind with the Robot Smith.  It took her all she could to do that final 100% sharing of her feelings. The key to her survival.  I believe sinking with ourselves is just that.  And this is where Ana's story intrigued me to how it related to finding yourself.  JLo found herself through a robot asking her to fully engage her mind to help them both work together for him to help her survive.  The truth is, WE need to synch with ourselves to survive. The key to our survival is knowing what is in our hearts.  Ana shared her intimate story, and at that moment she said "I shared with my cousin I was bulimic.  She was the first person I told" I cried.  I cried because I know the emotions of "coming out".Ana turned her life around by finding what is in her heart, her passion, and her MISSION.  She is now a Spiritual Coach.  With the help of Reiki and Card Reading, she helps those who struggle with eating disorders to find the same path of recovery she did.  And what is important is her Clients know she is speaking from the heart because she traveled that journey and recovered.Ana says it's about opening up the heart and sharing.  It sounds easy, but it's not.  Trust is required.  It is why she opens her heart to her Clients so they know being vulnerable is the best way to be and that she can be trusted because she has been there.Ana's story is beautiful.  Sad, caring, and about learning that everything happens for a reason.  Her's is to serve, and help those who need to reach out and heal.  The Magic In Healing.  I am sure that will be a beautiful Podcast and book someday.  In the interim, you can reach Ana on Instagram here...  @TheMagicinHealing  I appreciate Ana's honesty and her compassion for helping others recover.  I hope that this podcast speaks to my listeners as it did to me when speaking with Ana.Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia Episode 110 with John Graham 3x Memory Champion on overcoming Panic Attacks and Anxiety
I know panic attacks and anxiety.  Strangely I had often when I was bulimic.  I would hyperventilate when I was driving and have to pull over somewhere.  So John Graham was a welcoming guest on my Podcast.  What causes this?I asked some questions.  Is it passed down from generation to generation?  Is it about nutrition? In the view of John, there is little awareness of where it comes from, but he knows.  Most therapists, psychiatrists, and others will tell you it's a mindset, it can be cured with pills, meditation, or so on.  It can't.  I agree.  I tried all..  I love his response to this.  YOU HAVE TO START WITH THE HEART.  It was interesting that the Podcast guest that followed him had the same message.  Yet in a different version.  I found it interesting that John spoke about working with the right side of your brain instead of the left one that likes to "Google" the answer.  He explained both men and women have a hard time working with the "feminine" side of the brain because we have been brought up in such a masculine society and to think masculine.Emotional root issues store themselves in the heart.  One of my favourite moments was when John said the emotions rise when someone pokes you.  And you can feel the anxiety or panic surface, but instead of feeling it you push it back down.  And that someone doesn't know they poked you, but you know that there is something there that has to be addressed, but you choose not to. This is where John comes in.  I love that he said he feels like he is at the top of the mountain and wants to shout out to everyone how to overcome this panic attack and anxiety rollercoaster.  I told him I want to be at the top of the mountain with him.Listen to this and you will learn how to release all those uncomfortable feelings you keep inside of you.To reach John, please go to get your free video on How to Release Your Anxiety, Forever. https://releasepanic.com/freeMore about John:John Graham is a 3x USA Memory Champion, Grandmaster of Memory, Entrepreneur, and mentors High Performers (including a World Record holder). He's a world-class mind and innovator...but his dark secret is that he had to overcome daily panic attacks and chronic anxiety.  Mainstream methods (therapy, meditation, supplements, etc.) did not work so he discovered counter-intuitive methods to release suppressed emotions and release the control conditioning of his mind to free himself of panic and anxiety, for goodHe's performed insane mental feats on TV shows all over the world:- Super Brain (China) 400 Million Viewers- SuperHuman (USA) with Mike Tyson- Xtra Ordinary (Indonesia) 20 Million Viewers- Incredible People (Russia) 4th place finishHe's been an entrepreneur since 2012 and failed with at least 5 businesses along the way. Bleep Bulimia Episode #109 with Angela Beyer more that just a Fitness and Health Coach!
I apologize that my microphone did not work as perfectly as wonderful Angela is... please do if you can, bear with the sound, and listen to her message.  It's an amazing one...Angela is so wonderful.  Our conversation flowed beautifully.  I apologize for the sound.  I did my best to edit it.  I am not perfect on my podcast, but the messages to my listeners are.  Angela's message is so perfect for my listeners.  I loved her honesty and her wisdom.  Having an amazing life is up to you. I appreciated comments like Food Freedom, and Enjoy Food.  This is where I am now and I am so excited she brought that up.  We spoke to how to eat slowly, and also the beautiful things Angela shared.  Write down your next day.  Journal. For some of her clients, it is important to have the right portions, prepare your day, make sure you have protein, heal, and recover.   The strange thing is I realized I do all that.  But I can always do better.  Although the career that I love has me going up and down stairs, and my legs are fit, my arms are losing muscle.  I have all the exercise equipment to do what I said... from 48 to 56 and in better shape.  Now 61... I am going to challenge myself.  20-minute workouts just 4 times a week.  I am sending Angela my before and after.  Does it matter?  Not really, except, we spoke to the health around our bones when we get to our 60s.  It's not about my caring how I look, it's about protecting my bones.  It's about the perception of "I want to look great" to "I want to protect my body" which someone called a meat skin.  Yes.  It is.  And it needs muscle to keep its bones protected. What an amazing lady!  About eating disorders?  She speaks to a perfect way of finding a diet.  NOT A DIET... a way of eating for life.  Voices go away when you have peace around food.  She talks about food thoughts and releasing that.  Nutrition degree, bodybuilding, coming out of being a skinny fat person.  I get that.   Angela was wonderful in speaking to all this.  She was such a beautiful guest. And my BAD.  I meant 20 minutes 4 times a week.  I was so excited speaking to Angela, I messed up by saying by day.  NO! It's 20 minutes 4 times a week.  It's all you need. This was a wonderful podcast full of honesty and information. Please connect with Angela by reaching her at houseofshape.comBuzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia Podcast Episode 107 with Dr. Cindy Starke Internal Medicine Doctor Turned A True Healer
It was a pleasure having Dr. Cindy Starke on the show.  She says she sees women come alive all the time now.Overachieving is not the answer.  Dr. Cindy Starke left her practice feeling that although she started off loving what she did, medicine became like a revolving door as time went on, like Ground Hog Day.What she learned is that her emotions are there for you.  Instead of overworking to make yourself worthy, you can find yourself by finding your emotions.I loved that Dr. Cindy Starke asked about bulimia.  She was interested.  I shared my experience, but I don't know other people's "routine", or feelings.  But I do know pleasure and pain come with bulimia. With Dr. Cindy Starke, it's interesting that her acceptance of a shift was her similar cycle of bulimia.  Doctors and nurses on 12-hour shifts are not healthy, never mind being over-driven outside and pushing yourself.  And what are we doing and who are we proving this all to?Social scripts - change it to work for you instead of against you.  That's what Dr. Cindy Starke helps. Why do you want a feather in your cap?  I love something Dr. Cindy Starke said.  This is a meat suit.   Stop trying to impress each other as women or being in a man's world.  This is a meat suit.  It's not what you look like on the outside.  It's what your meat suit is holding in.  The beauty, the care, the love you exude.Know how to love your life.  Your experiences.  Dr. Cindy rewires your thoughts through her process through workshops once a month.  In one part of your mind, that is all your limiting beliefs reside.   To clear out the limiting beliefs it goes through a filter.   Find out more that, about how Dr. Cindy clears out the limiting beliefs.5 parts of the clearing that she shares in groups or individual session are also spoken to.To find out more go to drcindystarke.comNew Release Kindle or Signed Copy! How To Have Your Cake & Not Eat It All Too - A Guide To Adult Bulimia RecoveryBuzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia Episode 106 with Elwin Robinson Founder of Genetic Insights and Host of the Rejuvinate Podcast
This is an incredibly interesting Podcast with Elwin Robinson.  I have always been fascinated with genetics and DNA.   When Elwin reached out to me to be a guest, I was intrigued.  I know many of us are also intrigued by AI and that is to make notes for us on a Podcast and pick out the important parts of our conversation.  In fact, ZOOM has that and it decided to pop in to visit as a guest.  I found that intrusive because I want to note my experience personally with my guests. This, like all my episodes, is special, but particularly special because I always wondered about the genetics and the DNA possibilities of why I was bulimic, and Elwin speaks to this.A passionate person who also expands on the possibilities of looking into your DNA having a greater role than just what you may get from 23andMe, one that can provide a report on your present and possible future health issues, and greater yet, if I heard properly, provide you with suggestions on how to eliminate or control the future health issues.Fascinating.To reach Elwin, he suggests visiting YouTube and finding him by simply searching Elwin Robinson.  Yet, furthermore, you can visit his website www.geneticinsights.co.He is also offering a discount if you use the promo code BLEEPBULIMIA, all upper case and no space.Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia Episode 105 with Andrea Epting Specializing in the Treatment of Trauma Initiated by Process including Eating Disorders
I was so excited to have Andrea on my Podcast as a guest and I know now why.  I knew that the content would be of value to my listeners.  All my guests share valuable information, but in this case, the EMDR aspect fascinated me.Andrea is very knowledgeable on so many subjects that can be connected to our recovery from bulimia and eating disorders, with one being learning how to deal with emotions.  I love how this connects to the previous episode with Brady and Ana and what we spoke about. My favourite line?  Trauma has to do with too much too soon, or too little too long.   I saw and heard that line.    Also, I loved the conversation about emotional dysregulation. For those of you who have reached out to me on Messenger, I hope that my Podcast guests help you.  Reach out to the person you engage with here.Andrea, thank you.  This was truly a great learning experience.  Andrea also speaks to her 90-day journal Plan To Recover which will be partnered with The Road Less Travelled coming soon.More about Andrea and where to find her and her journal Plan To Recover:https://directimpactmedia.com/Plan To RecoverWith 19 years of experience in the field of Mental Health, Mrs. Epting is a practicing Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, EMDR Certified Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. Andrea has been a private practitioner since 2007 and specializes in the treatment of trauma-initiated process addictions, diamine deficiencies, sexual dysfunctions, compulsive behaviors, and partner betrayal. Additionally, she is the Founder of Wize Mind Enterprises, Lightning In A Bottle digital courses, and the host of the Direct Impact podcast. Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia with Brady returning with his Partner Ana sharing about her recovering from Bulimia
Wonderful episode about how Ana shares her story of bulimia recovery.  Brady was previously on my Podcast speaking to dog training and how it relates to humans training their mindset for both themselves and their furry family.Ana is candid and speaks very much about how a bulimic feels through the journey of bulimia and recovery.  Brady introduced his partner, encouraged her to tell her story, and asked some very pointed questions as a partner to someone who had struggled with the disorder.I truly appreciate this couple.  Lovely story about how they met as well. More About Ana:What we didn't get into, and I hope Ana will return as a guest once again to give us more information, is how Reiki changed her life.  She did speak to the spirituality part of her journey to recovery as well as OA (Overeaters Anonymous), but there was another part to this, and it inspired her to start her own business to help others heal through this method.  Keep posted for where to find her on Social Media. :)More About Brady:You can reach out to him at https://info.newdirectiondogtraining.com/ or on TikTok and Instagram @dndogtraining. Brady is a dedicated dog trainer with a passion for empowering puppies, dogs, and their owners to achieve greater success and harmony at their home and around town! With years of hands-on experience, he's honed his skills in canine behavior, obedience, emotional support, and service dog training. Brady firmly believes that a well-trained dog is a happy and confident dog, and his mission is to empower dog owners with the knowledge and tools to create a peaceful and loving home themselves. Most dog owners find themselves struggling to unlock their pet's full potential, often falling short of creating the well-behaved companion they envision. I was at a similar place, at rock bottom, and I needed to do something fast.In his signature keynote, "From Chaos to Harmony: Unlocking the Secrets to Your Dream Dog" Brady Foulk shares his up-and-down journey, guiding individuals to realign their focus on what they can control rather than what they lack.Support the Show.

Bleep Bulimia Episode 103 With Ben Oofana The Healer
Very interesting conversation with Ben Oofana.  Healer.  He has been in practice for 35 years.  We chatted about bulimia and his three most powerful interactions.  Deep tissue massage, acupuncture, and floatation tanks.Ben speaks about his own trauma and how he helps others with their own.    He speaks to numbing and avoiding.I did bring up the fact that being an adult with bulimia and being in mid-life bulimia.  This is different than working with children.Ben responded that even if he has limited information of the individual, he does admit many incidences, but his clients don't divulge all he needs to know to heal.Typical of bulimics.Ben states he will take his hands and scan the person.  And he says he then feels in person how they hurt emotionally.Accessing emotions and working with emotions is important.  And getting connected to their physical bodies is important to overcome the emotional triggers.Best line.  Digest your emotions.  Learn through how to do that in a healthy manner. You can reach out to Ben by going to https://benoofana.com also download a free copy of my eBook "The Essentials of Getting Over Your Breakup and Moving Onhttp://gettingoveryourbreakup.comMore about Ben:After a succession of destructive relationships in hismid-twenties, Ben realized that he was reenacting thetraumas of his childhood and adolescence. A very open and honest discussion.  Jordan is a Flooring Contractor.  Along with this, he is also a Mindset, Fitness, and Nutrition Coach.  The latter was inspired by his upbringing and the tragedy he witnessed.  Jordan's parents divorced and after the break up his mother spiraled downwards.  Along with becoming addicted to meth, she also had bulimia, something Jordan shares with us about his experience.Jordan himself struggled with what mirrors anorexia, where he would not eat and dropped down to 140 lbs from 180.  He realized he had to make a change, and so, the mindset, fitness, and nutrition coaching, helping others overcome difficulties they have experienced and witnessed. You can find Jordan on Instagram @one.contract.flooring.1Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia Episode 101 with Brady Foulk Dog Training Expert And How His Journey Relates To Bulimia
What a lovely and inspiring interview with Brady Foulk.  And how fun that this is episode 101.  Reminded me of the 101 Dalmations.  How would Brady train all 101?  A question for the next time I have him on my Podcast.   At first, I was wondering, when he reached out to me, how this would relate to my Podcast.  He was clear on how it would.  And it does. Fun pre-intro when I asked how he wanted to be introduced.  He said his last name is said "folk" like folks.  I told him I think I can say that fine.  Even with my lisp.  And or I could say he was Brady, like the "Brady Bunch".  Wanted to hug him right there.  My kind of humour. I have always had dogs.  And my dogs have been part of the reason I recovered.  My sister's unconditional love for me also made me realize dogs give you that too and what would my dogs do if I were to leave them?Brady shares his own story of how he had to retrain his own thinking and lifestyle and explains the three different ways we can deal with issues.  Ignore, manage or make it sustainable.Brady and I chatted after the interview and it was interesting that he asked me what were my questions while I was eating after I recovered.  He asked that because I told him when I was eating at family gatherings when I was bulimic, would I find a way to get rid of the food?  Today it's not really asking any questions.  It's enjoying the food and the company.  So there are no mental thoughts of what I will have to do, other than the dishes. :)  Great question though.Brady shares many intuitive thoughts and is very engaging.  And his dogs Bumble Bee and Curiosity are so adorable!  Check them out on Social Media! You can reach out to him at https://info.newdirectiondogtraining.com/ or on Tiktok and Instagram @dndogtraining.  The episode about water?  My birthday buddy friend Aaron was my guest on that episode.  You can view that one at https://www.buzzsprout.com/1484140/13189498More about Brady:Brady is a dedicated dog trainer with a passion for empowering puppies, dogs, and their owners to achieve greater success and harmony at their home and around town! Bleep Bulimia Episode 89 with Susan Gold, Humble In Intro as an Author and Coach. She is so much more.
This may be a shorter interview, yet a compelling one, and we didn't get into all the Los Angeles information about this beautiful lady.Susan Gold came on and I had a long intro for her and she said just introduce me as an author and coach.  She is so much more than that.It was an honour having her on my Podcast as I am honoured by all my guests and love that all are not about selling or promoting themselves.  Susan made that clear in our pre-interview chat.  I am proud that my guests are not here to sell.  They are here to send a message and reach out.  That is what my podcast is all about.  Find the person you relate to and yes!! please find that person.Susan is GOLD.  I love the story of the body finding intuitively the pain.  I can't find that to be easy because my body still holds pain.  I love that she spoke to taking the time to find out why.  I, like Susan, struggled with self-love.  Narcissism.  It's a common word that social media made known, and there's truth to it.  Too, the empath.  And also the supply a narcissist goes after.  I love that Susan shared about letting go.  And loving yourself.YOU are what matters.  Please, if you are struggling with bulimia or even self-worth, I recommend Susan's book, Toxic Family.  It's more than the title.  It's about enlightenment.  It's about transformation.  And as Susan says in the Podcast, it's where you start to learn about it.  Her book.  And if you need more support... reach out to her.The beauty of Susan saying about finding the love you feel for you. You can find it on Amazon by searching  Toxic Family or easier yet, just go to her website susangold.usNew Release Kindle or Signed Copy! Bleep Bulimia Episode 88 with Collin Hughes Suicide Prevention Advocate
This episode was quite emotional.  From Collin sharing his truth in life and his pain of a life that is a book to come, I hope.  Truthfulness and honesty and pain.  It's hard to lose someone suddenly.  I did try to relate suicide to Bulimia and Eating Disorders.  This was why I had Collin on this episode.  There were spoken words of quick loss versus slow ones, however, to me this was about having someone come on in pain and sharing that if you are feeling pain, and you are experiencing an eating disorder, it IS  A SLOW SUICIDE. I hope you find out more about Collin Hughes and Collin's story and his fight against suicide.  I know the feeling.  I felt like I wanted to drive into a pole when I was going through a divorce.  I heard the love of my life tell me she put a noose around her neck and she failed and I am grateful for that she is okay now... although still suffers from "what is this world about and why the f' am I here?"  Scares me that she still has those thoughts.  So still every day I wonder. What percent of us have thought about suicide, and yet are scared and doing it slowly, like I did for 30 years?  I was told that.  Bulimia is a slow suicide, as are all eating disorders.Mom told me tonight that she noticed I and my sister who also dealt with weight and mental health issues have learned how to live life with beauty and enjoy food, while also knowing to enjoy... and learning about what your body needs, and that you need just to enjoy life. My parents were freaked out about losing me when I was bulimic.  I have had friends with anorexia whose parents felt the same.  KNOW THIS, AN EATING DISORDER IS A SLOW SUICIDE AND SCARES THE HELL OUT OF THOSE WHO LOVE YOU!  My daughter knew I had bulimia and asked me to please LIVE. I hope this loss and pain make you realize YOU MATTER!You can find Collin Hughes by going to:https://www.buzzsprout.com/2036777https://www.buzzsprout.com/2036777/sharehttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-miracles-of-tragedy/id1641402383And The Malinois Foundation, which Collin referenced can be found at the link below:https://themalinoisfoundation.org/Support the showSupport the Show.

Bleep Bulimia with Benjamin The Dream Wizard on Bulimia Possibly Causing Dream Skews and Distortions
I remember first being on Benjamin's podcast.  I felt comfortable right away.  I was intrigued by my dreams.  I had struggled with a recurring one.  We addressed that one. With two to three hours he shares with his guests on his Podcast The Dream Wizard, I still didn't feel it was enough to get into all the weird and grey  (no colour) dreams I had when I was bulimic. That was for another time.  And this is the episode with Benjamin as a guest that is.Having said that, it was interesting that after he interviewed me on his Podcast and was making some suggestions as to WHY this recurring dream may be, it became clear and he was spot on, and I stopped having them.In this episode, you will learn about how dreams can be affected by diet, and emotions, in a fun way.  I appreciate Benjamin more than anyone will know.  It is why I felt compelled to have him as a guest here.If anyone here who listened can relate to strange dreams that shifted once becoming bulimic or having an eating disorder, I highly recommend connecting with Benjamin. To those who just decide to listen, I am asking you to please support his animal rescue home by providing even a dollar towards his and his wife's upkeep of animals in need.  I know the feeling  All my animals are.  Benjamin will be back as we both speak together as a team on how dreams and handwriting connect.  Both of these are "science" that cannot be proven in absolute, yet can be very accurate to a very interesting degree.  Stay tuned. You can find The Dream Wizard by going to  https://benjaminthedreamwizard.comBuzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREEBE A GUEST/FIND A GUEST Start for Free!PODMATCH is innovative, provides easy communication and dashboard scheduling! Bleep Bulimia Episode 85 with Ulrika Karlsson, Author, Intuative Impath, and Soul Coach, on bulimia recovery and triggers
I so enjoy having Ulrika as a guest.  Also known as Ullis Karlsson, Ulrika is an author who is a very spiritual person.  Ulrika speaks to health, healing, and eating disorders when it comes to fears and triggers.  I find it fascinating how she brings up triggers are important and are a sign of passing.  It's important to get used to not be comfortable to keep being healthy and free.On February 11th it was my 12th anniversary of being recovered, and we spoke to the fact that I didn't let it trigger me to go back to what was "comfort" in my bulimia and made me realize I truly was recovered.Holy F*ck and Sacred Water is one of Ulrika's first books and was mentioned to be the book of the year by the readers.  Since then she has authored The Sacred Soul and written a chapter in the book The Potent Power of Menopause. There is a lot of interesting information about these books in this episode and the fire element inside of us who struggle with eating disorders.   The energy we use up and burning up the water within us.  How we end up with less energy.  And even to that the sexuality is quite often affected.  Please listen to this full episode to really hear the balance between the female and the male in us.  And to the menopause, it was interesting because we spoke to the fact both men and women go through this and that it is time to "pause".We even touch on Government (controlling people).  I asked Ulrika why she was Ullis prior, knowing her real name.  She said Ullis was her nickname and she worked to reclaim what her real name means: The Magnificent. You can contact Ulrika at www.ulliskarlsson.com.  If you would like to purchase her books, please contact her directly.  If you do want a signed copy, you can, however, shipping charges would be extra.
