We Are The New Leaders At Pinecroft Baptist Church! It's been quite a while since I last relayed an update of our ministry activities. And that is not because there's been a lack of activity. Up until very recently, I have been sitting with the Lord and patiently waiting for His instruction and direction. What became clear to me for this period of weeks and months, is the Lord wanted me to focus on building my business and continue serving my family, including my wife and our increasingly active kiddos. As I was waiting on the Lord and seeking His face for the future of FaithFire, a small Baptist church was looking for a preacher. A sweet lady named Connie was searching for a pulpit fill-in for an upcoming Sunday and it seemed she was running out of options. Connie paid a visit to our local Teen Challenge in Greensboro and after talking to a few people, she was given my number. I was the third person she would call.  Eventually, I took the opportunity to preach to heart and accepted the invitation to preach the Word on a soon-to-come Sunday morning. After a few weeks, I had preached a few Sundays here and there, and the members started to ask, "Would you consider being our pastor?" I promised them I would pray about it.  In actuality, I didn't think I had enough time to commit to serving a fellowship in a pastoral role. But I asked my wife to pray about it (I didn't want to hear God say 'YES'). After several weeks and several conversations, I started to pray because my wife felt the Lord was guiding us in this direction. Finally, following a couple months of prayer and seeking counsel and talking it through with my wife, I accepted the role of Senior Pastor at Pinecroft Baptist Church.FaithFire Is Alive And Well  FaithFire isn't going anywhere. I can tell you that our ministry outside the church walls will continue with community and international outreach and revival services. We are planning a worship night for New Year's Eve at Pinecroft, in fact, and hope you can join us.  There have been some opportunities for international ministry in Mexico and Lima, Peru lately. These were outdoor crusades that were in the works, but after talking with our partner ministry, we decided the time wasn't right.  As march closer to a new year, I'm convinced FaithFire will be active in the coming year with the ministry that we have been committed to over the last four years. We will be reaching the lost with the love and power of Jesus Christ through revival nights, community outreach, and international crusades and revivals. The Lord is inviting us to listen!The question was asked in our prophetic fellowship, what does a 4.8 earthquake in NY and a solar eclipse on 4.8 mean?I began to ponder and pray and the Lord is speaking in volumes.He is again looking to get our attention. The DreamIn a recent dream from the Lord, I was talking to a young lady, and I was asking her about her basement.  I was talking to her about the space in her basement.I asked her a question.  I asked her, “Are you sure you don’t want to make use of your basement? These are freely given to us as a possession due to our position in Christ. But we don’t take possession of them if we don’t receive them by the help of the Holy Spirit. We only receive the deep things of God by allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal them to us. Our natural mind can’t contain what God has for us. Our natural eyes can’t see what He has for us. We only can become aware of our spiritual inheritance by spending time with the Holy Spirit.  Otherwise, we will resist the deeper riches the Lord has for us. What are these riches?Freedom. Peace. In light of some very prominent allegations and accusations, the Lord has shown me that we need to be careful not to join the chorus that is railing against them. We should be cautious. If we partake of wickedness in any of its forms, including media, we are forming a partnership, companionship, and association with that behavior, with that demonic spirit. We become members of a fellowship that we should not be involved with. We must break away from these bonds. In October 2023, the Lord took me into a vision and I saw an attack on the church at-large developing.What I saw was a sleeper cell awaken and they had long guns, assault-style rifles, and they were going into churches.They were loosely organized and part of a movement, but they were not in constant communication, which is why they evaded detection.Some of these attackers were actually attending churches.This vision came to mind when I heard about the attack on Lakewood Church in Houston where Joel Osteen is the senior pastor.I have been prompted by the Lord to reissue this word and a warning: We need to protect our churches in prayer and practicality.The church will be targeted by radical and violent extremists. In the vision of God, I was aware of the need for churches to harden their security, and not to take their security for granted.It’s a different world now.Some will look to avenge the deaths of those in Gaza who they see as victims of Israel and America.America provides weapons and funding, and America will be blamed and held responsible by some believers of Islam. We must prepare ourselves for future lone wolf style attacks, extremists who will act alone but are part of a broader moment to avenge the deaths of their fellow Muslims at the hands of those they consider infidels, Christians and Jews.We must prepare.  We must assess our security.  We must not fear, but we must harden our walls.  There is war coming at the gates of our churches.We must also pray for the security of our churches. Assign prayer warriors to pray for the walls of the church to be secure. I want to share this Word with someone who feels isolated from the Lord. You can't seem to hear the Lord. You can't seem to find Him. The Lord sent me to tell you, THERE IS HOPE. God is near. He is with you! It's His nature to be close. Don't fear!Here's what I saw, and what I heard from the Spirit of God:I was in prayer and saw a cell phone that had been lost. It was caught in a chair cushion I was sitting on.The phone had been left there a while by its owner and they had no idea where it was and how to find it. They would have to backtrack and go back to where they had been in order to find it. They would have to trace their steps backwardsIn the same way, the Lord is calling you to go back to where you were in love with the Lord and seeking Him daily. Retrace your steps. Where did you lose your way? Where did you lose faith? Who has distracted you? Or WHAT has distracted you? The Lord is calling on you to stir up your faith."Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. We will be in Guatemala in the coming days and we want you to please keep us in prayer!  I will be preaching revivals across several days. As we enter 2024, the Lord revealed to me there will be a greater measure of world order and divine order in the earth. And these two orders will conflict and create flashpoints of warfare.In 2 Chronicles 20, Judah was facing an organization of kingdoms and people, who had agreed to attack the people of God.  In verse 24, the people of Judah experienced a miraculous victory against a foe that appeared to be insurmountable.  In the end, God's people witnessed the vanquishing of their enemies by the Lord, and they didn't have to lift a finger.  All they had to do was praise the Lord and believe His prophetic declaration of victory!Stay in a posture of praise and worship.  Just as the children of Israel exacted a miraculous victory, your victory is at hand.  Stay in the Lord.  Stay in the Word.  Trust the Lord and give the battle to Him.  You will be victorious!Support the showYou can support the ministry of FaithFire here.
