Building New Worlds With AI - Blockade Labs
After a bit of a hiatus due to Rogue spending every waking hour trading dog coins, GoodWill Yunting is back with an incredible, can’t miss AI episode. He is joined by Adam B. Levine and Coin Artist from the AI project Blockade Labs. Blockade is known for their signature skybox product in which a matter of seconds users can input a prompt and generate a fully immersive, interactable AI world. Adam and Coin Artist start by introducing themselves, their background being super early to bitcoin, and what got them interested in AI and art. They then dive right into Blockade and how we are soon approaching a future where everyone will be able to build their own immersive worlds and video games in 10 minutes without needing any skill. They explain how this leads to a new level of content creation and experience sharing from everything to VR to games to movies. Anyone will be able to utilize AI will be an expert in the field they are wishing to create things in, leading to an explosion of new content in the world. We then discuss the possibilities of integrating blockchain into AI and gaming tech in beneficial ways. They leak some alpha on AI agents, which they think will be the future of gaming. These AI agents will fill these many worlds we built, and we will be able to play games passively or actively with them. This is an enlightening episode into the future of AI and gaming that you don’t want to miss! If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests. Parallel: Changing Gaming Forever ft. Kalos and Bew
In this new and absolutely incredible episode of GWY, we sit down with one of the founders of Parallel as well as a member of the Echelon Foundation. We start by discussing what Parallel is and how Kalos feels about its overwhelming success so far. We then move onto the question of how Parallel will overcome any NFT/crypto related resistance from traditional gamers as well as  what scaling looks like for Parallel as the game expands. This leads into a talk about how they plan to incentivize and reward new players to the ecosystem. Next we discuss how Parallel can utilize both traditional revenue models such as a Game Pass, and new Web3 only revenue models such as unique sinks. We end the Parallel discussion by talking about how it's the first actual digitally verifiably rare trading card game. But Parallel TCG isn't the only game the studio is building. We dive deep into Colony, the AI game being built by the studio that they call the first ever 1.5 player video game. We discuss how the AI here isn't a gimmick as with other companies, but it is a technology that creates a purely unique experience that touches our humanity, so much so that players who have played it hate any new updates because it means the "death," as they call it, of their old AI companion. Colony is able to utilize AI that refines your gaming experience through memory and lived experience. Kalos gives us many crazy stories of AI creating/coding items that did not exist in the game before, AI becoming musicians and being able to ask the for the sheet music, and AI thinking they've gone crazy. We end the Colony discussion by talking about avatars role in Colony and what future scaling could look like. Finally, Kalos gives us some release dates on the next biggest things coming for Parallel. If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests. Apollo Rises from the Ashes with Anon Intern and Bruce
In our new GoodWill Yunting episode, we invite back on our old friends Anon Intern and Bruce from Apollo DAO. Apollo was originally built on Terra but since the crash they have regrouped and built out an exciting new protocol on the Cosmos chain. We begin by talking about why they originally chose to build out in the Luna chain. They discuss the opportunity they saw of bringing and capturing value to a new, budding ecosystem despite knowing the risks of the algorithmic stable coin. After the downfall of Luna, they didn’t give up but instead decided to build out a new and upgraded protocol on Cosmos using all they had learned. They discuss why they chose to build out on Cosmos SDK, what opportunities they see there, and all the exciting projects being created and utilized in the ecosystem. We get into the first product launched on Apollo, leveraged LP vaults. Discussing the leveraged LP vaults, it becomes clear why it’s a great foundational building block for the platform and the Cosmos ecosystem in whole, such as how leveraged LP positions create a new level of customization and management for Liquidity Providing users. Finally, we end on some alpha on what’s to come in the short term for Apollo along with their ambitious long-term visions on how they want to build out in a number of different ways to serve users, the Cosmos ecosystem, and token holders. If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests. Blur - Deconstructing Misconceptions with Pacman
Back for another episode of your favorite crypto podcast, I’m joined by Bew to talk to the big brain himself, Pacman of Blur. If you don’t know Blur, your head must be buried deep inside the sand because it is the hottest, and most controversial, NFT marketplace to recently hit the scene. In this episode, we discuss why Pacman decided to build Blur, and as an NFT trader where he felt other marketplaces such as OpenSea fell short. Of course, we get into all the ins and outs of the controversies, misconceptions, and FUD around Blur and how it is affecting the NFT landscape. The tokenomics of Blur is a point of interest as we discuss how projects such as Blur can use tokens to help steal market share and create stickiness for their own platform. Getting into the technical side of things, we talk about the decisions around building an orderbook-style liquidity model for Blur and how this model affects how NFTs are seen and traded by collectors and traders alike. Alongside this discussion, the realization comes that Blur has shined a light on the different types of NFT market participants, including some that were hidden in the shadows to many. It wouldn’t be a good NFT chat without discussing royalties, so we get into the history of royalties within NFT marketplaces, Blur’s stance on NFT royalties, and philosophical and personal musing on the value and future of royalties. This was an incredible episode that you don’t want to miss. The Future of Crypto with Xan Ditkoff and Bew
In the first GoodWill Yunting episode of 2023, we have on with us Xan, a friend and all-around crypto killer who has been involved in more projects than Vitalik himself. We start by discussing Xan’s extensive background and breadth of experience in the crypto space. We then dive into one of his favorite projects, Stacks, and what they are building on top of Bitcoin. Outsmarting Risk with Rysk
In this new GoodWill Yunting episode, we have the brilliant, options gurus Ugolino, Jib, and Degeneral of the incredible protocol that Yunt was an investor in, Rysk Finance. Rysk Finance is a complex new protocol that uses options strategies to create uncorrelated yield for users. Our friends from Rysk break down how this is possible, their big-brain DHV vault, in what ways yield searchers and degen traders can use Rysk, and much more. They help break down what options are, what beta is, and how they can be utilized to create uncorrelated yields in crypto. We also discuss on-chain options as they stand, how they could look in the future, what Rysk is looking to build out in the future, and the future of yield and options in DeFi. It's Elemental: Talking Element Finance with Windra, Charles, and Bew
In this episode, I'm joined by 0xBEW and the Element Finance team to talk all things Element, DeFi, and governance. Windra and Charles begin the conversation by giving their backgrounds in crypto. We then discuss what Element Finance is exactly and how degens, institutions, and businesses will be able to utilize it. We dive into the various uses of Element and how it is planning to grow and expand in the future. Charles, the DeFi Gov expert, gets grilled about what has worked in DeFi governance and what hasn’t, where problems still lie, and what protocols they took inspiration from when building out Element’s new governance model. Continuing on said model, we break down how their governance council works and how it plans to change the game when it comes to governance in DeFi. Bew and Charles get into a big-brain talk about regulation around DAOs and what the regulatory field might look like moving forward. One-Stop Shop: TraderJoe ft 0xMurloc &JaLa
In the latest episode of GoodWill Yunting, JaLa makes his long awaited return to talk with 0xMurloc and I about the protocol building as much and as hard as just about anyone out there, TraderJoe. We get into a whole range of topics such as how TVL might actually be a liability in some cases, decision making on how to make protocol’s profitable, and how people will ape into just about anything in irresponsible ways. Along with that, we got into some TraderJoe specific features like their unique take on ve tokenomics with veJoe, BankerJoe their lending platform, RocketJoe their liquidity bootstrapping platform, and alpha on their upcoming NFT platform and its release. We get into the nitty gritty of some broader topics such as governance on a chain where people are yield hunting and if it’s smart to pay people to vote. The episode ends talking about the beef with Wonderland and how TraderJoe takes down names of all the haters. Sentiment: Infrastructure Layer or Degen Tool? Yes. ft 0xSnarks, Ruvaag, and Sath
In the latest episode of GoodWill Yunting, I’m joined by Sath to talk to the two big brains Ruvaag and Snarks from the soon™ to be released, under-collateralized borrowing protocol Sentiment. As a disclosure, Yunt is a seed investor in Sentiment, and we couldn’t be more bullish on them. The conversation begins with talk of how degens can use the protocol’s under-collateralized vaults for leveraged longs, shorts, yield farming, and more. Snarks and Ruvaag mention the protocol’s goal to be a composability and infrastructure layer for users, devs and protocols across DeFi. We discuss how Sentiment allows for very simple to very complex degen strategies for every part of the bell curve, strats that can include yield bearing tokens, LP tokens, and option strats. Snarks speaks to their vision of allowing for devs to build strategies on top of Sentiment and use the margin accounts to source liquidity and use Sentiment as a distribution channel. Sath remarks on how they’re forwarding thinking in many ways including using ERC 4626 standard for their vaults and all the interesting compossibility possibilities that offers. Finally, in regard to Sentiment, we dive into cross-marginalization in vaults using interest-bearing tokens like yDAI and stETH as collateral to earn while you borrow. We end by talking about market sentiment and the all-important topic of the bobba physics of Anata NFTs, and how a paper should be written about it.If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests. Yunts of the Round Table 3: The BEARINING ft. Sath, GetBigOrDie, and BEW
Back for another episode of your favorite crypto podcast with a special Yunts of The Round table episode to help you navigate this crazy market. I’m joined by the incredible Yunts Sath, BEW, and GetBigOrDie. We start with everyone’s favorite topic: is this a bull, bear, or crab market? Spoiler, we don’t think this Do Kwon pump will last long term. Continuing that thread, we discuss what a macro recession might look like for both the global economy and crypto specifically. Next we dive into the attention economy and how it’s leveraged in crypto for both good and bad. To inject some hopium into our, and the listener’s brains, we dive into what projects and tech we are excited about that are being built right now. After that we dive into Sath’s favorite topic, governance tokens—and if any of them should exist. Naturally, the conversation flows into ideal governance structures and what role the community should play in governance. Finally, we end on the topic of NFTs and how they could continue to bring mass adoption of crypto in the way we’ve all been waiting for.If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests. VCs: The Good, The Bad, The Degen ft. Dan of CMS, Jason Choi of Spartan Group, and Bew
This episode is truly a treat as we have on two crypto giga-brains to talk about the value, functions, and future (or lack thereof) of VCs in crypto. The episode begins by us getting into both guest's backgrounds. Dan mentions that in the early days in crypto weren't a constant bombardment and at times he worried that crypto might be a flash in the pan. To set the background to the episode we discuss what the function of a VC is, and Jason drops some interesting history and goals of past and current VCs. We dive into the idea that if capital is abundant in crypto, why should projects raise from VCs and not retail in one way or another? Jason talks about how in the early days Spartan had trouble raising capital for now billion dollar, blue-chip protocols. Jason and Dan discuss how the current narrative of VCs always playing  on easy mode isn't going to last as looking at the past many VCs died in 2017-2018 and many will die if we hit another bear. Next we get into the SEC vs. crypto theories of keeping all markets open vs. some level of gatekeeping, and which is actually better for retail. Of course we discuss the current markets and what in god's name is happening there. I bring up the Pantera report of which me and Dan are a bit skeptical of some of their deductions. Finally, we get to the shill yo bag section where Jason drops his must-buy crypto and Dan's audio recording unfortunately drops out at the very end. Overall all this episode will give you a completely different perspective on the future of VCs in crypto, surviving in the markets, the history of crypto, and how to make it in this crazy game. If you enjoyed the episode, please subscribe, rate, and share so we can continue to get amazing, alpha dropping guests.
