We then turn the page over to preview a surprisingly solid Duke team as the Hokies are set to travel to Durham this Saturday to take on the Blue Devils.

This week we put the first half of the season behind us and turn our focus towards the primetime Thursday Night game of the week. The Hokies hit the road to Raleigh North Carolina to face the NC State Wolfpack who are licking their wounds a bit after losing their starting quarterback for the rest of the season.

This week we roll into the bye with the Hokies currently on a 4 game losing streak after falling to the Hurricanes at home 20-14. We welcome on Hokies defensive lineman Josh Fuga to discuss the early season returns and how his game has progressed under the new regime. We then look at what could have been if certain Hokies with eligibility remaining had decided to give Blacksburg one more spin.

This week we look back on the loss to Pitt in a game where we saw legitimate progress overshadowed by game management issues and a handful of big plays surrendered by the run defense. We then turn our attention to the matchup against Miami as this becomes the last time this rivalry game for the Hokies will be played annually.

This week we welcome Virginia Tech Offensive Line Coach Joe Rudolph to discuss how his group is coming together and what is needed to improve the Hokies running game. We then recap the every phase disaster that was the Hokies trip down to Chapel Hill last Saturday that resulted in a blowout loss to the Tar Heels. Lastly we then turn our eyes to Pittsburgh as the Hokies face a well-rounded but less explosive Pitt Panthers team on Saturday.
