How Climate Change will affect biodiversity?
Biodiversity is critical to virtually every aspect of our lives. In other words, we value biodiversity for both – its benefits to humankind and for the inherent value that it has. Humans obtain many essential needs from biodiversities, such as food, fuel, shelter, and medicine. It also provides important benefits such as the concentration of seeds, regulating climate, purifying water, cycling nutrients, and even controlling agricultural pests. Now everything that we do locally, or nationally has global impacts when it comes to biodiversity. For example, when we drive a car locally or take a flight from one city to another within our own country, that will definitely have its contribution towards the increase in Greenhouse has globally.► The Conscious Citizens Podcast ◄ - https://conscious-citizens.abhilashshukla.comThe Podcast talks about the concerning matter of Climate Change. How Russia-Ukraine war 2022 will impact Energy/Coal/Oil/Gas & Climate Change?
The Russia Ukraine conflict is economically stressful, but it may serve as a catalyst for decarbonization in Europe. It can force governments to increase their investments in zero-emission renewable energy sources and home and electric vehicles more aggressively. This can eventually help the faster transition to achieve the net-zero goals within the larger Climate Change action plan.On contrary, there have been concerns that leaders may relegate climate change to an afterthought in light of a major humanitarian crisis. Policymakers may behave in a backward fashion in efforts to reduce the use of fossil fuels that spew deadly greenhouse gases into the atmosphere in response to the renewed emphasis on energy independence and national security. ► The Conscious Citizens Podcast ◄ - https://conscious-citizens.abhilashshukla.comThe Podcast talks about the concerning matter of Climate Change. Russian-Ukrainian war 2022 and the impact on climate change
Today Russia is demonstrating that powerful nations can have loopholes and can practically ignore the organisations like UN. United Nations which is responsible for preventing war and conflicts in the world, seems dramatically incapable. And this Russian-Ukrainian war has raised questions on the UN's credibility now. There have been concerns that leaders may relegate climate change to an afterthought in light of a major humanitarian crisis. Arctic states will find it harder to work together on addressing climate change issues amid the Russia Ukraine war. And combating oil pollution getting increased at a dreadful rate in the Arctic.Website: https://abhilashshukla.com► FOLLOW ME ◄LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/abhilashshuklaa/Twitter: https://twitter.com/abhilashshuklaaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/abhilashshuklaa► DISCLAIMER ◄Information provided in the podcast is of a general guide from a personal perspective and does not constitute legal or authoritative advice; the statistics and regulations referred to in the podcast are sourced from the public information bureau and are subject to change with time. What is COP26 in 2021 & Why India committed for Net Zero by 2070 when the conference targeted 2050?
So UNFCCC calls this summit every year with the agenda of global agreement on the fight against climate change. And 197 countries, which means the entire world became its member party and it was agreed that we are required to limit the rise of temperature by 2 degree celsius. And for the same reason, the annual meet started to happen. Now this every year summit is what is called COP, i.e. Conference of Parties. Now this COP-26 was titled as Target to reach Net Zero 2050 and the message was for countries to come up with a plan which should determine all the things that they would be doing to assure that they will reach to Net Zero by 2050. But India committed that they can do Net Zero by 2070 only, let’s try to find out why.► FOLLOW ME ◄LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/abhilashshuklaa/Twitter: https://twitter.com/abhilashshuklaaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/abhilashshuklaa► DISCLAIMER ◄Information provided in the podcast are of a general guide from a personal perspective and do not constitute legal or authoritative advice; the statistics and regulations referred in the podcast is sourced from public information bureau and is subject to change with time. A Diwali Note on Climate Change - Impacts and After Effects
Diwali has always been the festive that makes people understand that a light always wins over dark,  good always winds over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. I would like to break these 3 key takeaways of Diwali into pieces for better understand how we could learn from this and make ourselves contribute towards climate change positively. But before that let me give you some numbers to keep in mind, so that you can relate each though with these numbers.Air pollution is the 3rd biggest killer in India. The life expectancy has reduced by 2.5 years in a less than a half decade because of it.According to Greenpeace, around 57,000 people died prematurely in Delhi in 2020 as a result of exposure to air pollution, i.e despite this Covid lockdown.Out of 30 most polluted cities in the world, 20 cities are from India.Listen to the Podcast to learn more about the note!► FOLLOW ME ◄LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/abhilashshuklaa/Twitter: https://twitter.com/abhilashshuklaaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/abhilashshuklaa► DISCLAIMER ◄Information provided in the podcast are of a general guide from a personal perspective and do not constitute legal or authoritative advice; the statistics and regulations referred in the podcast is sourced from public information bureau and is subject to change with time. How Blockchain can help fight Climate Change?
Blockchain is a word that is widely understood as some sought of a digital payment mechanism. Because people tend to relate it with Bitcoin and they limit Blockchains potential to just money transfers. But Blockchain is way bigger and it represents a technology in itself, Digital money usage or for that matter Bitcoin is one of the use case of Blockchain. The decentralised approach of blockchain can provide both breadth and depth. And It can engage and enable everyone to participate in the fight of Climate Change. It will allow us tracking and reporting of reductions in greenhouse gas emissions along the entire supply chain, including manufactures, suppliers, distributors and consumers.Just as the internet today is much bigger than email, the rise of blockchain technology is much more than decentralised money alone. The combination of blockchains and oracles are leading a new era of smart technologies that can create entirely new types of incentives for sustainable human consumption. Innovations in blockchain technologies are powerful enablers for collective action to fight climate change and it can be leveraged if we consider it by heart.

Are drones going to be the climate lifeguard?
Our planet is at the brink of an environmental disaster. Global temperatures are rising with stark consequences for many of the things that we take for granted.Fortunately, a technology has emerged that can gather data for conservational projects, support the work of environmental researchers, play a key role in implementing sustainable solutions, help in the fight against the odds created by climate effects, and can even service renewable energy infrastructure. And it can do all of those things in a way that’s better, easier, faster, cheaper, and safer than before. In case you haven’t guessed it yet, we’re talking about drones. These flying robots are tackling climate change from multiple angles: improving the efficiency of solar farms and wind farms, protecting endangered species from above, and supporting the work of scientists all over the world.

Forever Chemicals, made by humans are now threatening their very own existence - The deadly PFAS
They say that diamonds are forever, they say some friendships are forever. But unlike diamonds, friendships, and these emotional bonds, there are some chemical bonds which are forever as well, and they are highly dangerous. They are cancerous, they can reduce our responses to vaccines, limit our growth, increase the level of cholesterol in our bodies, and can put us at a risk of heart diseases. In short, these chemicals can shorten our life span, and ironically these chemicals are called Forever chemicals.Forever Chemicals are raining on us and further contributing towards the climate disaster. As part of the evaporation process, these harmful chemicals are being cycled through environment and effecting each and every inch of space on earth. Along with this carbon emission danger, this another carbon-fluorine variant has added more to our struggle for fighting against the climate change.► FOLLOW ME ◄LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/abhilashshuklaa/Twitter: https://twitter.com/abhilashshuklaaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/abhilashshuklaa► DISCLAIMER ◄Information provided in the podcast are of a general guide from a personal perspective and do not constitute legal or authoritative advice; the statistics and regulations referred in the podcast is sourced from public information bureau and is subject to change with time. The NEXT VOTE should go to a climate aware government having 10 merits
"Carbon" is shorthand for greenhouse gas emissions, which includes CO2, methane, nitrous oxide and other man made gases. And These gases are released by many different types of activities – not just by burning fossil fuels, like farming, deforestation and even some industrial processes contributes to green house gas emissions. On a larger scale government plays important roles in policy making and sanctions, and tweaking the approach may can change everything. On policy levels there are certain expectations that we as conscious citizens should have with governments. Please understand why this is so important, Globally, greenhouse gas emissions have grown by 50% from 1990 to date. Here are the asks:Climate Change Awareness ProgrammesReplanning TransportationMoving to Renewable Power GridsPolicy Binding for BusinessesRecycling MandateReformation of Agriculture IndustryCarbon TaxationRegulating Meat and Dairy ProductionSupporting Startup and Innovation CentersPrivatisationWe can solve the biggest challenge humanity has ever faced and we can protect our air, water and land for future generations with the help of global leaders and government.► FOLLOW ME ◄LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/abhilashshuklaa/Twitter: https://twitter.com/abhilashshuklaaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/abhilashshuklaa► DISCLAIMER ◄Information provided in the podcast are of a general guide from a personal perspective and do not constitute legal or authoritative advice; the statistics and regulations referred in the podcast is sourced from public information bureau and is subject to change with time.
