Want to know more about what it's like to be an OB/GYN? Join us for a conversation with Dr. Nwegbo-Banks as we learn about her pathway to medicine through Texas JAMP, her experiences in medical school and in residency, and how virtual platforms allow her to reach patients beyond the walls of her clinic. About Dr. Nwegbo-Banks: Peace Nwegbo-Banks, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Serenity Women's Health & Med Spa in Pearland, Texas. Dr. Nwegbo-Banks completed her bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in chemistry at the University of North Texas in Denton, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station, Texas, and pursued her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Houston Methodist Hospital. Dr. Nwegbo-Banks has her certification in robotic surgery with the da Vinci System and fundamentals in laparoscopic surgery. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Nwegbo-Banks is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UT Physicians, affiliated with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
