Trying to find a home for the show has been challenging. The show has always had a home with various networks but we've only been a solo operation a few times. We are weighing the options on what to do. This week Censored TV offered us a spot BUT... it turns out our values do not align with other on air talent featured on the platform. So I respectfully said "no thanks."

7/29/24 • 52:18

21 Gun has spent almost 3 years behind a paywall over at Compound Media. Compound merged with Censored TV who's values do not align with ours. As such, we ventured out again on our own and brining you our weekly episodes absolutley free on all podcast platforms.

The Twenty One Gun Podcast is a live podcast highlighting the unique opinions on current events from the viewpoint of veterans. It is an unfiltered view into our experiences in combat and how that shaped our views of the world. The main stream media and politicians think they understand us and can speak for us. That couldn't be further from the truth. 21 Gun gives all veterans a chance to speak up and speak out.

Kevin, Frank and Jeremy are back for their second pilot episode, covering current news and events from the perspective of salty combat veterans. This week they talk about why everyone loves EOD... maybe even more than Navy Seals thanks to Hollywood. Jeremy tells the story of how he assaulted a patron with an ice cream scoop and how it landed him in the Army. They also discuss: mask hypocrisy at the Super Bowl, what the rules are for getting cancelled, Air Force Olympic athlete who is reduced to her race rather than her talents, How Frank is treated poorly as a conservative black man, the selfishness of non-binary soldiers demanding special treatment, and what may be the reason for the unfortunate spike in GWOT veteran deaths.  Subscribe to the 'Compound Media' for full, uncensored programming. 20% off using codes: CM1month, CM6month, CM12month https://compoundmedia.com TWITTER: https://twitter.com/compoundamerica IG: https://instagram.com/compound_america

Ladies and gents, we were recording a pilot episode for Anthony Cumia's Compound Media! We figured while we're here, let's go ahead and go live for our FB and YT audience. We're winging it here but this is what we do! News, gossip and current events. We're like the View except we're not insufferable megalomaniacs.

4/10/22 • 63:09

Call it the official announcement of our merge with Compound Media!

3/18/22 • 13:54

Thank you all for checking out the show! We found a new home over at Compound Media. So, we've been holding off on guests until our new schedule was solidified. I think we're finally there. In this episode we recap this week's viral news and events from an independent prospective. If you haven't noticed we've been a little unpredictable with uploading shows recently and it is because we're moving to a new network. We have several prerecorded episodes that I wanted to get out before the move. We will still be recording free content here along with premium content on the new platform (soon to be announced).

I (with my entire fam) was down with the rona along with everyone else in the entire world at this point. We've also been busy working on some side projects and the first few weeks of 2022 went to the wayside. However, we are back to our weekly shenanagins with a fantastic guest, Matt Jimenez aka Matt's Alright from Twitch, IG etc! Matt recounds his story of overcoming mental health issues and how PTSD can come from places you least expect. Matt is a great guy and we had an awesome time with him. I think you'll enjoy the show. Oh, Frank was in Vegas and Jeremy was not in studio because my house was still a red zone of VIRUS when we recorded! Either way, we have been itching to go back live and bring you the latest news and events from the perspective of the modern veteran.

End of year special episode with Michelle Black.  Michelle is the author of "Sacrifice: A Gold Star Widow's Fight for the Truth." Her husband, Green Beret Bryan Black, was killed in an ambush in Niger in October of 2017. After receiving few and contradictory details about the ambush, she took it upon herself to find the answers. She trained herself to be an investigative journalist and conducted exclusive interviews with the survivors of her late husband's unit and researched military leadership and accountability to tell a previously unknown story.  Michelle and I had a nice talk about the meaning of family, life as a mil-spouse, raising children and the search for truth - no matter how painful. It was a honor to have her on the show and I hope you enjoy the interview.

It has been a hell of a 2 year stint representing the Irreverent Warriors with our weekly podcast! But, as all good things come to an end, so too has our time with IW. We have had a great run and made a lot of important connections with politicians, celebrities and various VSOs, large and small, who have come on the show and shared similar missions. We have connected so many IW hikers with resources and made relationships that will further the goal of preventing veteran suicide. We had a lot of laughs but I hope we saved a few lives in the process too.
