November is Prematurity Awareness Month. This week, Catherine and Lauren are joined with Erin Houser. Erin is a nurse at Mercy Health and works in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She talks about the challenges and joys that come from working in such an intense environment. Work in the NICU is always emotional but became personal when Erin's now 10 month baby girl experienced complications after birth.

The group has grown to around 2000 members from all over the country. She is the head of communications for Kroger Health and former senior media relations associate at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. After the loss of her infant son named Christopher, who was born with multiple congenital abnormalities, she started The Angel Baby Network which provides families grieving an infant loss with an opportunity to connect with other parents going through similar circumstances. Also, in this episode Lauren opens up about her daughter Kyla Hope who passed away from SIDS at 3.5 months.
