Startups And Rebrands with Shelter Ready!
The best businesses have three main components: Solve a problem, offer a manageable solution and provide value above what is expected. Local startup Storm Check was launched with this in mind. After initial success, the founders recently went through a brand elevation to become Shelter Ready! full-service cleaning and prep. for storm shelters. The decision to rebrand is always a tricky proposition, even more so when a company is only a year old and practically still in startup mode. But it’s worth the effort if the rebrand can make a big enough impact. Why the change, you ask? We listened to potential customer feedback and realized the previous name, Storm Check, needed clarification. Many mistakenly associated our services with storm shelter installation or storm chasing. We wanted a positive name that clearly conveyed the safety and peace of mind provided to families who utilize a storm shelter during severe weather. Shelter Ready! is embracing a brand identity that speaks directly to the core of what they do: preparing your shelter for whatever Mother Nature may bring. We also simplified the service packages from three tiers to one, reflecting our dedication to streamlining the customer experience. Now, with just one click, you can access comprehensive storm shelter cleaning and preparedness services conveniently available through the new and improved website CleanMyShelter.com.As part of our rebranding efforts, we’ve also refreshed our logo, opting for an umbrella symbol to represent shelter from the storm—a universal symbol of protection and safety. This new branding is visually appealing and reinforces our commitment to protecting your family, pets and neighbors during severe weather events. The idea started with a conversation about providing opportunities for veterans and helping keep Oklahomans safe during a storm. As residents of Oklahoma, the founders of Shelter Ready! know how important it is to have a safe, clean place to go at a moment’s notice. They are also grateful and proud of the servicemen and women who helped secure our freedom. They aim to employ veterans who have served our country and empower them to become leaders within the company across all levels. The Strategic Growth Podcast offers expert business insights, interviews with thought leaders and business plan triage for business owners, start-ups or anyone with a specific business problem. Business Process Management Defined and Explained
What is Business Process Management (BPM) and how can it benefit your business? That's the discussion today on the podcast. BPM is an absolute dedication to the continual improvement of everything that makes up your business! To start, The Golding Group Definition: Business Process Management is a strategic approach to aligning company workflow, procedures, communication and human assets to create the most effective, efficient and manageable systems for sustainable business growth and longevity.BPM is a strategic approach to creating effectiveness, efficiency and dependability in the execution of business activity. By focusing on ALL processes necessary for day-to-day operations, you (business leader) can better manage your business outcomes.Businesses are organized by separate but collaborative departments: Production, Distribution/Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Accounting, HR, Management, etc...Processes are the "business rules" (steps, guidelines, actions, operations, procedures, practices, techniques, etc.) for accomplishing necessary tasks. These are actions, tools, skills or communication required to do each job in the business. The what, when, where, why and how of every role in the business structure.Systems are a collection of processes that all work together to produce efficiency.Management is the continual adjustment, improvement, and organization of processes and systems for the best possible outcomes.Business Process Management is highly focused execution to maximize the potential of business strategy, assets and structure through continual improvement.BPM creates the opportunity for constant improvement via communication, measurement and adjustment of internal and external processes. These improvements translate to efficiency in developing, creating, and delivering products and/or services. The potential benefits are lower cost to produce, fasters delivery/turn times, lower overhead, better profit margins, agility, multiple levels of leadership, consistent potential for growth and a positive attitude of innovation. A potential downside is the overthinking of business processes with too much emphasis on finding savings or efficiencies that might not exist. BPM is hardest to incorporate in industries based chiefly on creativity and experimentation but essential to quantify and organize for profitability.
