Ep 107 Fast Suzi
FAST Suzi began in a CD store in 1989. F.A.S.T. Suzi rocked audiences at every show. The band played in many of Chicago's iconic venues including SOP's, Stay Out West, The infamous Gateway Theatre, and the legendary Thirsty Whale. After a few lineup changes, the band went dormant for many years. Something interesting happened in 2006. Mickey Thomas got tired of not playing out and had the bright idea of bringing the name of Fast Suzi back to bars around Chicago. Mickey and Matt set about to bring the music back. The band chatted with Paul and Ray and shared the backstory of Fast Suzi.

Ep 102 Gambler
Formed in the Chicago area, Gambler began playing the Clubs, and Bars which lead to support slots with Fleetwood Mac, and Styx. The band recorded two excellent albums, which every serious fan of AOR should have in their collection. The debut album “Teenage Magic”, was produced by Jeff Glixman, and not surprisingly, there is a real Kansas feel to many of the tracks. 1980 saw the release of the second and final Gambler album -”Love and Other Crimes”. Paul and Ray met with the band to find out what they have been doing since then.

Ep 91 Ashley Victoria
Ashley Victoria has been singing since the age of 5. Singing with her father's band growing up gave her the confidence to start performing more throughout elementary and middle school. In 2014 she decided to tryout for a singing competition at one of the local bars in her area. That was the first time she had ever sang with a live band on stage. It was there that a local cover band discovered her, asking her to sing with them.

Carl Giammarese began his music career as a founding member of The Buckinghams, as lead guitarist and vocalist, in 1965. The Buckinghams were an important part of creating the sounds of American rock music after the British invasion had arrived and changed everything. The Buckinghams enjoyed No. 1 status and other positions on Billboard’s music charts for 5 years. They released 15 hit singles and 4 albums that charted, and they toured nationally for five years.

Pino Farina is a singer-songwriter whose emotive performances are filled with songs of love, heartache, redemption and renewal. Ep 86 Ronnie Baker Brooks
He was born in Chicago, and started playing guitar around age six. At 19, he joined his father, who by then had influenced some of the most well-known bluesman of our history: Jimmy Reed, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Johnny Winter, and Junior Wells. For 12 years the two would tour together, putting Ronnie out front with Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Koko Taylor. In 1998, when he was 32, his father told him to go solo.
