Godsticks is a British progressive rock/metal band from Newport, Wales formed in 2006. The original lineup included vocalist and guitarist Darran Charles, bassist Jason Marsh, and drummer Steve Roberts. Godsticks released their self-titled debut EP in 2009, and in July 2010, they followed up with their full-length debut album Spiral Vendetta. The band secured a worldwide distribution deal and supported acts such as The Pineapple Thief and The Aristocrats on tours. Their subsequent albums include The Envisage Conundrum (2013), Emergence (2015), Faced With Rage (2017), and Inescapable (2020). In 2023, Godsticks released their sixth studio album, This Is What a Winner Looks Like. Notable achievements include playing headline shows across the UK and performances at major festivals like Stone Free and Prog'Sud.
