The Blue Van is a Danish rock band formed in Hallund near Brønderslev by Steffen Westmark, Søren Christensen, Allan Fjeldgaard Villadsen, and Per Mølgaard Jørgensen. Originally inspired by blues rock, the band developed a retro rock sound influenced by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Cream. After moving to Copenhagen, they released the EP A Session with The Blue Van in 2002, showcasing their distinctive 1960s-inspired guitar and organ style. Their debut album, The Art of Rolling, arrived in 2005 through TVT Records, followed by international tours across North America, Europe, and Japan. Their fifth album, Would You Change Your Life?, was released in 2012 and received positive critical attention. In 2026, they released Recording Club of 1996.
