Spoil Engine is a heavy metal band formed in 2004 in Roeselare, Belgium. The band released their debut album Skinnerbox v.07 in 2007. The group performed at notable festivals such as Graspop Metal Meeting and Pukkelpop. Their second album, Antimatter, was released in 2009 under Roadrunner Records. In 2015, founding vocalist Niek Tournois left the band and was replaced by Iris Goessens from Drunken Dreams. Their fourth album, Stormsleeper, was released in 2017 under Arising Empire, a sub-label of Nuclear Blast, followed by Renaissance Noire (2019), which featured guest vocals by Jeff Walters of Carcass on "The Hallow" and received positive reviews upon its release.
