59 Times The Pain was a hardcore punk band from Fagersta, Sweden, formed in 1992 by Magnus Larnhed (vocals/guitar), Michael Conradsson (bass), Toni Virtanen (drums) and Kai Kalliomäki (guitar). The band’s first demo, Feeling Down, attracted Burning Heart Records, leading to the release of their debut album Blind Anger & Hate in 1994. This was followed by More Out of Today in 1995, Twenty Percent of My Hand in 1997, End of the Millennium in 1999, and Calling the Public in 2001. The group toured Scandinavia and Europe and appeared on compilations such as Punk‑O‑Rama Vol. 4 and Short Music for Short People. After disbanding in 2002, the band reunited for a performance at Groezrock in 2008.
