Pauline Taylor is a British singer and songwriter who first attracted attention as the lead vocalist on the singles “Love Love Love, Here I Come” by Rollo Goes Mystic and “Let This Be a Prayer” by Rollo Goes Spiritual, both projects of producer Rollo Armstrong of Faithless. In 1999, she released the single “Come Down”, which included the B-side track “Addicted”. The track was later reworked by Faithless into “Addictive”, featuring a rap by Maxi Jazz, and was included on the soundtrack of the film Cruel Intentions. That same year, she released her self-titled debut album Pauline Taylor on Cheeky Records, which featured the underground club hit “Constantly Waiting”, remixed by Rollo Armstrong and Sister Bliss. Taylor also served as a lead female vocalist for Faithless, contributed guest vocals to both of Dido's albums, and wrote for artists such as Melanie C, Paolo Nutini, and One Eskimo. In 2005, she self-released the album A Simple Life, which contained the track “Solo Flying Mystery Man”, also featured on Faithless's compilation Back to Mine. In 2007, she released her third album, Up, on the independent label Fred, featuring the single of the same name.
