Don Toliver is a singer, rapper, and songwriter hailing from Houston, Texas, where he was born as "Caleb Zackery Toliver" on June 12, 1994. Toliver began releasing music in 2017, releasing a joint mixtape with fellow rapper Yungjosh93 titled Playa Familia. Later that year, he released the solo singles “Diva” and “I Gotta, which helped him ink a deal with Atlantic Records in March 2018. That summer saw Toliver release his first major-label mixtape, named after his alter ego Donny Womack. A day later, Travis Scott released his own album, Astroworld, featuring Toliver as an uncredited vocalist on the track “Can't Say.” The song became a platinum-certified Top 40 hit. Toliver returned in 2019 with the singles “Back Up” (featuring Wiz Khalifa), “Best You Had,” and “No Idea.” The latter was included on his studio debut album, Heaven or Hell, which climbed to Number 7 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in 2020. After scoring his first Top 10 hit with Internet Money's "Lemonade," Toliver released Life of a Don in October 2021. The album peaked at Number 2 on the Billboard 200 and was followed by 2023's Love Sick, which reached Number 8 on the same chart. He kickstarted 2024 with "Bandit," a Top 40 hit on the Hot 100 as well as the first single from his forthcoming album, Hardstone Psycho. Released that summer, Hardstone Psycho reached number 3 on the Billboard 200, as well as number 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums.
